Enjoy two (2) one-minute flights in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel, similar to the 45-second freefall portion of an actual skydive.
The total experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours from start to finish.
Indoor skydiving is safe and suitable for anyone over the age of three. No prior experience required.
Flyers must not exceed 300lbs. Individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the staff to determine if they can be accommodated.
Wear comfortable clothing and lace-up shoes. All other gear, such as helmet, goggles, and flight suit, will be provided.
Goggles are large enough to be worn over eyeglasses but secure your hair in a braid or a low bun to fit the helmet.
Flying is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, head, neck, back, or shoulder injury, or have a heart condition.
Flyers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign their flight waiver.

Soar on a column of air inside a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel. iFLY New Jersey Edison utilizes superior technology and multiple turbines at the top of the flight chamber to recirculate air through the flight chamber, producing a powerful and stable wall-to-wall airflow that is smooth and fun to fly in.

Located along Route 1 south in the Edison Towne Square shopping district, iFLY New Jersey Edison’ expert staff provides a safe and exhilarating experience for all. The tunnel’s clear chamber provides the perfect opportunity for family and friends to enjoy the views as you learn to fly. The air flow is entirely controllable. Combined with professional instructors, this creates the most exciting flight experience possible.

Before your adventure inside flight chamber, you’ll learn fundamental bodyflight skills through a classroom training session guided by professional instructors. They’ll be there to guide you throughout your flight experience. All necessary gear, including a flight suit, helmet and goggles, is provided. The entire experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes two one-minute flights per person, which is more than double the freefall portion in outdoor skydiving that lasts 45 to 60 seconds.

iFLY New Jersey Edison welcomes flyers from 3 years of age and up. Those under age 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver and accompany them in the flight chamber.

Is there a weight restriction?

Flyers must not exceed 300lbs. Individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff to determine if they can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.

Are there any health restrictions?

Individuals who are pregnant or have a hard cast or hard prosthetic that cannot be removed are not permitted to fly. Individuals who have a head, neck, back or shoulder injury, heart condition or other health condition that may impede their ability to participate, should not fly.

What should I wear?

Opt for comfortable clothing that will fit under your flight suit, preferably pants and a shirt without a collar. Lace-up sneakers or athletic shoes are recommended. You should remove any items that might flap around or become loose, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings, and hair accessories.

Does iFLY have lockers?

Yes, iFLY has lockers for guests to use. However, they recommend that you leave anything valuable at home.

How does indoor skydiving work?

A vertical wind tunnel utilizes fans at the top to pull air through the flight chamber, which is then pushed down the sides through Return Air Towers. This process passes the air through an inlet contractor, compressing and accelerating it before it reenters the flight chamber. The outcome is a steady column of air that allows you to achieve flight.

How long is each flight?

Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. When jumping from an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approximately 45 seconds. Your admission has two (2) flights, so you will have two (2) turns in the wind tunnel with an instructor lasting 60 seconds each. The entire experience lasts 1.5 hours from start to finish.
