"Friendly staff and a great location"

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is decent. Excellent location with great views into NYC Skyline, with PATH station right across the building. Plenty of restaurants walkable in the area.

The Hyatt House Jersey City was the perfect spot for our family vacation to NYC. Views from the rooftop bar are impeccable. The hotel is right across from the Exchange Place PATH train station - one stop to NYC. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of places to sit. Rates are reasonable for the area. Parking is available nearby. We'll be returning to this hotel again soon!

"Pretty good but not perfect."

Good - Good price for the location the days I was there. Incredibly convenient to NYC - right on the Path. Room was great. Bad - one of the elevators was broken, so there were constant lines to get upstairs from the lobby. Additionally, only two of the three elevators went up to the floor where breakfast and the rooftop bar are, and the one that was broken was one of those…. To make it worse, they didn’t explain how to get to that level, so I was riding up and down on the wrong elevator for 10 minutes. Then I had to wait in line again. Breakfast selection was good, quality was adequate. I had a room on the city side, and there’s a streetcar that runs 24/7 - could hear it all night long. I know it seems like a lot of negatives, but they were all pretty small things in isolation. If I can get a good price, I’d stay here again.

Worst hotel I have stayed at. Too many problem from reservation screwups, no luggage racks checking in or out; room had so many problems; no communication regarding window washing resulting in an extremely embarrassing experience; incompetent front desk; elevator was disastrous

It was a fab stay. The hotel had a fantastic setting with view on Manhattan. Day and night vIews were magical. New Jersey was ideal location to explore NY Close to all attractions yet away from the noise and some not always pleasant"busy city" experiences . Hotel room with kitchenette had all basic amenities. The only issue was the sofa bed was not very comfortable
