Yes, transportation is provided by private vehicles.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and transportation is wheelchair accessible. If needed, we permit guests to bring a wheelchair or portable scooter with them to fold and place in the rear of the van during the tour. The vans are not equipped with a lift or ramp; there is a 12-inch step up into the vehicle.
Is parking available?
Parking is available in the Austin Convention Center Garage which is connected to the Austin Visitor Center. Enter the garage on E 5th St between Red River and Sabine.
Is food and drinks provided on the tour?
Drinks and food are at your own expense. Expect the tastings to cost between $18-$20. Your tour ends with a return to Austin in the mid-afternoon.
How long is the tour?
The tour is 4 hours long.
What’s included in my ticket/experience?
After making your own way to the Austin Visitors Center to meet your shuttle, travel to Texas Hill Country. Enjoy time at each stop, trying some authentic Texas barbecue and wine tasting without worrying about your transportation.
