First stop is Austin’s famous BBQ pit, Salt Lick Restaurant to savor some tasty Texas flavors. Then, you’re off to two award-winning wineries to explore and sample wines.

Is the tour appropriate for children?All ages are allowed to join this tour. However, the tour is best suited for ages 21 and older. Minimum drinking age is 21 years old.
How long is the tour?Tour duration is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?Yes, and transportation is wheelchair accessible. If needed, guests are permitted to bring a wheelchair or portable scooter with them to fold and place in the rear of the van during the tour. The vans are not equipped with a lift or ramp; there is a 12-inch step up into the vehicle.
When should we arrive?Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour's start time for check in.
Is parking available?Parking is available in the Austin Convention Center Garage which is connected to the Austin Visitor Center. Enter the garage on E 5th St between Red River and Sabine.
What is included in this tour?This tour includes a knowledgeable driver/guide and transportation in a Mercedes Sprinter van. You'll travel to Texas Hill Country and enjoy time at each stop along the journey (3 stops in all), trying some authentic Texas barbecue and wine tasting without worrying about your transportation. Please note: food and beverages are at your own expense.
Are food and drinks provided on the tour?Drinks and food are at your own expense. Expect the tastings to cost between $10-$25. A budget of $35 per person is recommended for BBQ at Salt Lick.
