My family and I had a great experience. Staff members were courteous and accommodating, going out of their way making sure all was well with the unit. Other guests may seem disgruntled from an unfavorable experience, which should have been addressed during their stay. Posting bad reviews is unfair to the resort. Kudos to the wonderful staff at Greenspring! They provide excellent customer service. It's a beautiful place, family friendly, overall great location for a home away from home. I have no regrets, and would definitely recommend it to others.

We usually stay at the sister resort down the road, Powhatan Plantation which is where we would much rather gave stayed. Greensprings has nice, large rooms, very nice bathrooms. There was a beautiful view of the golf course from our balcony. BUT- If you aren't on the 3rd floor the stomping from the people above you is horrible. There is no assigned parking and they let people with 15 seat passenger vans, boats and trailers take up 2 to 4 parking spots. You might have to walk very, very far from your car to your room. When you step out onto your balcony at night you are hit with noise from parties and smells of smoke and other recreation. People clearly have more than 6 or 8 persons per room, we were above a group of 15 staying in a 2 bedroom. There is a resort fee per night even though the pool is the only recreation open from 9am-5pm. It's such a shame, I bet this was a wonderful resort a few years ago, bad management or no support from Diamond Resorts has failed Greensprings.

"Not safe, not clean, no parking"

People checking in next to me were not wearing masks and nothing was said. I never saw any type of sanitizing going on over 4 days. The pool was packed! There were parties going on everywhere, marijuana smoke in our room, in the hall, coming from the porch below us. No assigned parking and there seemed to be 20 people staying in the room below us. How does this place have such a high rating? So gross.

Check in was very quick and the woman who checked us in, Dymond was very courteous. I was very surprised that I was charged the full activities fee when the only activity open is the outdoor pool and that is only open until 5PM. I was told by Dymond that the pool would be at 75% capacity, the pool was very full when I went in even though there was a person at the gate, he was just a kid and let everyone in. Our rooms were big and mostly clean, there was evidence of a party held in the room (confetti, tape on the walls and over the fireplace). We stayed 3 nights. Our first night was fine but we were woken up at 6AM by the stomping feet of the people above us, this lasted until 10AM. The second night I smelled marijuana in the unit but didn't think anything about it, then the smell grew heavier the next morning. I called the front desk who transferred me to security. Security came out to check the grounds but could not really do anything. The next night we went out to dinner and returned to find the entire resort packed to the gills. I couldn't find a parking space (we had one car) I looked for a spot for 15 minutes before driving to the front desk. I told the woman at the front desk there were no parking spots anywhere near our unit. I was told I could park on the side of the road. I finally found a spot 4 units away from mine (each unit has 2 buildings, so I was parked 8 buildings away from my room. This is an overrun party resort not fit for families, at least not our family, we're not smokers who pack 15 people into a 2 bedroom suite. I am so disappointed.
