""You get what you pay for" - we would not consider this hotel in the future."

Decent location to the nearby Colonial Williamsburg; bathroom was very small...vent was dusty...shower head not working...carpet looked old...bed mattress too soft and had no cover...pillows were awful...TV not always working. Location of hotel near a train line and it was extremely noise during the night (we counted at least 5-7 freight trains during the night). Breakfast was included in room rate, but we did not eat since scrambled eggs looked artificial and pancakes were dry.

"Not our best Hotel experience"

Our room was filthy. It desperately needed a good vacuuming, there were pop bottle tops, lying on the floor under the bed and behind the tables, and the bathtub was unusable, it was so dirty. Ditto the bathroom floor. I must say that the front desk help was good, but that was the soul redeeming quality of our experience at this hotel.

"VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY"

I had a mixed experience at the Best Western in Williamsburg, VA. The hotel’s location is fantastic, conveniently situated near key attractions, which was a major plus. The front desk staff were also accommodating and responsive, quickly addressing our concerns by moving us to a quieter room after a disruptive first night. Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by significant issues. On our first night, a group of construction workers were partying loudly in the hallways, making it impossible to sleep. While the room change helped, the new room raised serious concerns about cleanliness. I stepped on a dirty fish hook embedded in the dark carpet, which was not only painful but also required a trip to the pharmacy for a tetanus shot. This suggests the room hadn’t been properly vacuumed or inspected. Overall, the great location and helpful staff bumped my rating slightly, but the disruptive noise and hazardous cleanliness issues made this a largely disappointing stay. I’d hesitate to recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.Rating: 2/5

"LOCATION AND VALUE"

OVERALL THIS IS A PRIME LOCATION, IT IS A GREAT VALUE FOR WHAT YOU PAY, THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT. IN A GOOD LOCATION FOR A MORNING WALK OR RUN, THE GYM WAS OUT OF ORDER, A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING. THERE WAS A BREAKFAST. EGGS, SAUSAGE, CEREAL, BAGLES. THE SHOWERHEAD NEEDS AN UPDATE BUT FOR WHAT WE SPENT WE DID WELL HERE.

I had a wonderful experience at Best Western. The front desk staff was professional, friendly, and always ready to help. My room was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel is well-maintained, with excellent housekeeping service that kept everything spotless. Breakfast had a nice variety, and I really enjoyed the quality of the food. The location is convenient, close to shops and dining, and still quiet at night. Overall, Best Western provided excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
