"Doubletree Williamsburg, hotel check-in"

We checked in late last night to the Doubletree here in Williamsburg and the attendant at the front desk who registered us, Vaden, was so helpful in getting us taken care of and was a great conversationalist. We also watched him interact with a DoorDash employee and he handled the situation extremely well in explaining the hotel policies and DoorDash deliveries. So Vaden made us feel welcome and took care of our needs.

"Pleasant stay in Williamsburg VA"

We were traveling for the holidays and originally booked two nights at the Hampton Inn. After a disappointing first night there we checked out and moved to the Doubletree where were given a very nice room and greeted warmly. Rich and Regan at the front desk were helpful with making the rest of our short stay a pleasant one. The bartender, Gabriel, was very accommodating to put on our football game in the sports bar and he made one of the best Old Fashioned I’ve had in a long time! It came smoked under a glass dome! He made our time there relaxing and we felt appreciated as guests.

"Great stay- clean rooms and friendly staff"

The hotel was very nice- clean and accommodating. Terry at the front desk was very welcoming as everyone was checking in. He was willing to answer all questions and assist all guests with a smile. He definitely comes to work with pride for his job! The hotel is definitely a nice one with rooms that join for larger groups. Overall it was a nice stay and the staff was helpful to us when we needed assistance- we enjoyed the stay!

"Parking no longer free. Nickel and diming the customers"

Have stayed here for years. Shocked to find out during check in that they now charge $12 a night for parking. We also got hit with a “service fee” of over $5 at the little shop where we bought breakfast sandwiches and coffee to go. There was also a line for a tip so don’t know what their service fee was for. Surly front desk also. Asked what floor I wanted between 2,3 or 4. I said 4 and she gave us 3. Never greeted me as a Hilton Diamond elite. Not staying here again.
