"Really good!"
June 2019 NEW
Water Country USA was a blast! The weather was perfect and we found the rides to be very fun! The people are nice and there was absolutely no wait at any rides. The only thing was that they had 2 rides closed and the lazy river current was slower than usual, likely due to the fact that there were few people there on a school/work weekday. It was overall an amazing time!

"Pricey, but tons of fun!"
June 2019 NEW
My 6 yr. old son and I went for a few hours on a Friday and it was so much fun! The longest we waited in any line was about 10 minutes. The kids pizza meal that we bought was pricey and not very tasty, but I guess I don't expect much from amusement park food. My son loved the thrills and I enjoyed the rides as well. Overall, a really great day. Parking ($17), lockers($15), and food($25) all added to the cost of the trip though...

"Parking and Pedestrian Safety is HORRIBLE!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed July 18, 2019 NEW
This review is specific to arrival and getting to the Park entrance. We were there on Monday, July 15th. Our group had five families including 10 adults and 4 young children in three cars. We thought that parking and parking lot pedestrian safety at Busch Gardens the prior day was horrible! Traffic control in the parking lot was a mishmash of cars circling in both directions due to too many cars being directed into an already full lot. Vehicles were traveling in both directions with vehicles pulling / backing into spots. There was no rhyme or reason to traffic flow! There were acres of available parking spaces. Meanwhile families / couples where trying to exit their vehicles, unload a stroller or cooler, organize their passes, etc prior to heading to the park, keeping children out of way of passing / turning cars while this was happening. Very frustrating! While the Park is nice, going into it can be stressful! If you are reading this review and planning on visiting the Park, particularly with children but no less for yourself, please be careful in parking, and be aware of your safety as a pedestrian!!!

"Great day!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 12, 2019 NEW
We took advantage of an online special so we felt 27$ a person was a good deal for our family. Park opened at 10am and we were there till close at 7pm. Parking is a little spendy at 17$. We headed straight back to the wave pool to find some shaded spots with lounge chairs. If you have little kids, the kid areas like cow a bunga, etc seemed to have plenty of shaded seating as well that didn't fill up as fast. Lots of great rides that our kids ages 5-13 all enjoyed. Many of the rides worked for our whole family with my 5 year old wearing a lifejacket. There are not paper maps but they do have permanent park layout maps in various locations. Yes the cement gets extremely hot, you need flip flops or water shoes. Rides have spots to put your belongings and we didn't lose anything while we were there. The rules seemed much more relaxed than their website alluded to. People had on goggles and sunglasses on many rides. Some carried their phones in waterproof cases. My daughter did have to remove string bracelets off on vantage point. Don't miss colossal curl, that was a favorite right at the park entrance. Great way to spend a hot summer day!

"Cool in the 97 Degree Heat"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 11, 2019 NEW
It was 97 degrees out the day we went, so it was probably a lot more crowded than a typical weekday in July. Despite the heat, I didn't feel like it was that hot throughout the day. The park is sufficiently covered that riders waiting in line are pretty well protected in most rides. And obviously, staying wet or moderately wet throughout the day helps. There are lots of options for all ages. My sons are 40" and 46", so they were restricted from some rides, of course. I would highly recommend the Hubba Hubba Highway. It's not a 'lazy' river in that the current is pretty strong. Everyone is encouraged to wear a life vest and relax in the 3 ft. (3.5?) deep water. There are intermittent bursts of water that made the journey more enjoyable (I'll let you figure this one out yourself). There was a 2-day deal on the website, so grab it. 2 days for $55.50 or 3 days for $60.50 (still available till 7/14).
