I will never choose this hotel again. All the breakfast was great. Our rooms smelled really bad like mold. Hair dryer in neither one of the rooms was working. No one never came to service our rooms. We had to find housekeepers in the halls and ask for towels, etc., I address it to the front desk clerk and she told me I will have to talk to Tripster. We did a lot of waiting for the elevator. This was my second time visiting Branson and this hotel was very disappointing.

The Grand Plaza Hotel was exactly what it said. The room was comfortable and clean. The in room jacuzzi was just what we needed after a long drive. When I did have a small problem, the front desk staff took care of the problem quickly. It was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the pub was a great way to end it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We will not choose this hotel again because it is on the side of a mountain and walking to nd from the car is very difficult. Also the room smelled musty, not vent in the bathroom and the soap and shampoo was difficult to use. Also, two small elevators for that huge hotel, waited a lot.

"Horrible"
July 2018
Terrible stay, don't waste your time with big fancy hotels. Had this place reserved for 5 of my 6 nights in Branson. Room service never came my first full day, came the second day but didn't leave any toilet paper. Shower curtain was way too tall for the shower, layed about 5 inches into the bathtub creating a slip hazard. Biggest problem was everything in the room was damp, nothing would dry. So much moisture in the air with no air movement. 4 of us showering with no exhaust fan then coming back to the room wet from swimming and wet from doing things on the strip could not get anything dry. Had a beach towel hanging up for 72 hours and still wasn't dry entire room was musty every piece of paper in the room was full of moisture. Checked out 2 days early and went back to the $57/night motel I stayed in my first night here.

I was totally impressed with the entire staff and the quality of this hotel. It was like going back in time to elegant hotels. The lobby was spacious, the rooms very clean and well appointed. TV stations included Fox News an Fox Business so you won't miss Lou Dobbs..... Breakfast is in the dinning room on the 9th floor. The menu was varied and more than enough that you won't leave hungry. The view out the windows is magnificent. I would recommend this hotel highly

Like another review said, unless you are able to squeeze in one of the few compact parking spaces behind the hotel you will have a really good workout climbing up the long hill to the lobby. The hotel was nice except for people on the 8th floor. The breakfast are and the bar are above you on 9th floor. Loud party people until 11:30pm. That is ok but they start setting up the breakfast area at 4am. Loud banging, talking and carts rolling on the tile floor. I gave up sleep at 5:30am and asked the desk clerk “what time do they start setting up the dining room?” He shrugged and said “4 I guess” then turned around and walked in the back room. The facility is nice inside but I came here to sleep at night. My bad luck, but I felt that the clerk couldn’t have cared less and didn’t want to know why I asked. He just ignored me and left. We just spent four nights in the Grand Plaza. It is probably one of the cleanest hotels we have ever been in! We initially booked two nights and extended our stay two additional nights before returning home. Every employee we encountered had smiles on their faces and were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was the best complimentary breakfast we have ever seen or tasted. The variety was awesome and the hot prepared foods were delicious! We loved the convenience of having the shampoo/conditioner and body wash in a shower caddy and available for use IN the shower. They also had liquid hand soap (versus the messy bar soap) which was really nice. When in Branson, we’ll definitely try to stay in the Grand Plaza.

Yes, our group got a low rate proving the old adage you get what you pay for. The hotel is looking a bit worse for wear. Lacking spaces to meet up and hang out in small groups. Our rooms air conditioning unit cover kept falling off.The room was depressing. The staff was responsive and accommodating as they could be.

We didn't want to be out on the road on New Year's Eve, so we decided to book a hotel in Branson. We found an online special for the Grand Plaza and booked it. Since we had not been there nor did we read any reviews, we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and spacious – the staff was pleasant and professional – the breakfast was excellent. It was a great place to stay!
