I will never choose this hotel again. All the breakfast was great. Our rooms smelled really bad like mold. Hair dryer in neither one of the rooms was working. No one never came to service our rooms. We had to find housekeepers in the halls and ask for towels, etc., I address it to the front desk clerk and she told me I will have to talk to Tripster. We did a lot of waiting for the elevator. This was my second time visiting Branson and this hotel was very disappointing.

The Grand Plaza Hotel was exactly what it said. The room was comfortable and clean. The in room jacuzzi was just what we needed after a long drive. When I did have a small problem, the front desk staff took care of the problem quickly. It was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the pub was a great way to end it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We will not choose this hotel again because it is on the side of a mountain and walking to nd from the car is very difficult. Also the room smelled musty, not vent in the bathroom and the soap and shampoo was difficult to use. Also, two small elevators for that huge hotel, waited a lot.

Terrible stay, don't waste your time with big fancy hotels. Had this place reserved for 5 of my 6 nights in Branson. Room service never came my first full day, came the second day but didn't leave any toilet paper. Shower curtain was way too tall for the shower, layed about 5 inches into the bathtub creating a slip hazard. Biggest problem was everything in the room was damp, nothing would dry. So much moisture in the air with no air movement. 4 of us showering with no exhaust fan then coming back to the room wet from swimming and wet from doing things on the strip could not get anything dry. Had a beach towel hanging up for 72 hours and still wasn't dry entire room was musty every piece of paper in the room was full of moisture. Checked out 2 days early and went back to the $57/night motel I stayed in my first night here.

"Very disappointed "

We stayed there last weekend and was very disappointed with the hotel upon check in we were not given the room that was reserved for us and went back to the desk and they said the the travel group that booked our room does this all the time and not check with us but the gave us a king room that was wheel chair accessible who knows we didn’t need other that the single king bed. The mattress needed replaced the sheets at the top were so thin you could see through it. The shower curtain had holes in the top of it all along it and st one end you could put you fist through it. You can tell that there needs to be updates done.

Booked the hotel through a travel site and glad I did. I got a good deal. Had I booked through the hotels website and paid a lot more I would be extremely disappointed and the star rating would probably be a 2. So why 3 stars. The hotel is located in the middle of the main street and convenient to all the shows, shops, and restaurants. You can also get to the hotel easily by using a back road...the blue route...to avoid busy main street. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. That was the good. Now the issues. The parking in front is bad. Its a steep downhill. The rooms are ok, but you can tell it is an older hotel. In our room the beams holding the mattresses were sticking out and my wife actually bumped into one that was covered from the bed skirt and scrapped her leg. Also, the fridge did not work and there were ants in the bathroom randomly. I could not find where the were coming to. The AC in the room was a little noisy as well. We were both able to sleep well and for the money we spent, I was happy with the 2 night stay. TV worked, view was nice, and we were comfortable. Hope anyone who reads this finds it useful.

We stayed there for a baseball tournament. Hotel was dated, staff was not friendly, pool was sub par. To top it off I left 2 shirts in the closet and when I called to get them back they didn't have them. We will be back to Branson but will never stay here again!

We have a large family and needed a suite. Found one here and we were excited to check out the amenities. Lobby seemed nice and clean. When we got to our room I quickly noticed some issues. First room and bathroom was mostly okay. But when I got to the second room I looked up and saw the ceiling falling down. Second bathroom was the same. Water damage and the patch job was horrendous. Whole ceiling was messed up and I could have done a better patch job! Bottom line this hotel needs upgrades. All the furniture is showing wear. The chair in our room was faded and old. All wood furniture scuffed and looking old. For the price we paid we could have rented a house. Not worth the money. Pool was okay but same problem-the ceiling falling in. This hotel needs work.

"Not what we remembered"

We stayed at this location for a week this month and it was by far not what we remembered from previously staying. The bed was comfortable, but the room itself was a mess. We noticed right off the bat as soon as we opened the door to the room, the musty smell about knocked us over. There was hair in the bathtub, a few layers of dust had accumulated on the back of the toilet, the vent cover in the room was rusty and discolored. When we turned the tv on, we couldn't get anything at all, after a call to the front desk, a maintance man came up right away and fixed it for us. We booked here because of the wonderful breakfast buffet, it was no more though, a boxed breakfast was handed out each morning. Needless to say, we ate breakfast out each morning. I had called a few weeks ago to confirm our reservation and was assured the buffet would be going, and the pool/hot tub was open. The pool was open, a huge hole in the ceiling in one corner though, no clean, dry towels though to use after a swim. I'm sure we won't be staying here in the future, we were so disappointed.
