ARTECHOUSE is the nation’s first innovative art organization dedicated to the intersection of art, science, and technology. As a pioneer in the field of experiential art, ARTECHOUSE Miami creates, produces, and presents innovative, technology-driven exhibitions, expanding the possibilities of art and how we experience it.

Since debuting in December 2018, ARTECHOUSE Miami has continued to challenge the traditional museum model and has become one of the best things to do in Miami. Taking over 736 Collins Avenue, ARTECHOUSE Miami is centrally located in the city’s arts epicenter of South Beach.

How long should I plan to spend at ARTECHOUSE Miami?

You should plan to spend at least 30–45 minutes or longer. Tickets are purchased for individual hour-long sessions, and when space allows, guests are welcome to remain past their hour-long session.

Is there parking?

ARTECHOUSE Miami does not offer or validate parking. The 7th St. Garage is recommended for vehicle parking and Collins Avenue for bike parking.

Is there a dress code?

Guests must be properly attired to enter the space. Swimwear must be covered up, and shirts and shoes must be worn. They ask that guests refrain from wearing stiletto heels in order to protect the reflective flooring.

Is the attraction appropriate for children?

ARTECHOUSE welcomes visitors of all ages and children under the age of 4 are admitted free. However, certain exhibitions may include a recommended age due to the use of flashing lights, loud sounds, delicate materials, and the like. Because the exhibitions change throughout the year, please reference the description of each exhibition for any age recommendations. Please note that children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring my bags and/or strollers with me?

Suitcases, luggage, large backpacks, and bags larger than 16” are not permitted in the exhibit space and cannot be checked or left with staff. Strollers are not permitted in the exhibit space; however, they can be left behind the front desk. Please note, this area may be unattended at times.

Is the attraction wheelchair accessible?

ARTECHOUSE is a fully accessible space. Mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers are allowed on the exhibition floor. Some individual programs may have an intended use or method of interaction that may be difficult for some visitors, but each is nonetheless fully maneuverable and compliant with the ADA.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes. Photography for personal use is permitted, though they will ask that you refrain from using your flash inside the exhibit space.

Are food and drinks allowed inside?

ARTECHOUSE asks that guests refrain from bringing outside food and beverages, even gum, into the art space in order to protect the technology on site. Bottled water is permitted only in non-exhibit areas. When the XR Bar is operating, please remain in the bar area, no beverages are permitted on the main exhibit floor.
