The room was clean enough/ but a little dated. Housekeeping staff was nice.. We were in the building behind taco place, when you step in hotel only in that area carpet is dirty in that area and there was a smell. Hotel advertises DJ at pool (10-5), and free happy hour drink. As part of the value of saving money on these things I booked, Saturday morning at the pool, music is playing but no DJ / party. And the happy hour drink they served a watered down mix of something, which I couldn’t finish., After the stay there was a charge on my card, which. I don’t believe was mine. I called hotel to ask, they advised me to email manager, after 4 days disputed charge w bank as no one has gotten back to Metz

"Do not stay here unless you’re really, really, really desperate!!"

This hotel is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. It only looks nice in photos because the walls are painted and the floor coverings seem to be new. In reality, the first thing you realize is the horrible smell. My first room smelled of mildew, must and mold with a hint of bleach on top. My first night was spent fighting a severe headache due to the smell alone. The furniture doesn’t close or open properly. The floor is not level… anywhere. I have never seen so much hair stuck to the walls of a hotel shower—from previous guests. There was only one trash can, placed by the toilet which is on the opposite side of the room from the sink. The curtain did not open, as the track was meant too open in the middle but the curtain was a single solid panel. On day 2, someone came in and took the “desk” and “chair” from my room—severely limiting my ability to work in the evenings. On day 3, housekeeping took one of my pillows. Note: they do not provide “do not disturb” or even “no service today” signs, so housekeeping comes in every day screwing with your room in odd ways. For example they would always take my hung up towels, but usually did not replace them with new ones. My first room also did not have a working AC. I complained and they said it was fixed, but that was a lie—or an improperly trained maintenance employee. With the hotel sold out, I was forced to stay in a humid, 80° F room. The night front desk agent left a note for them to fix it in the morning. They did not even try to fix the AC in the morning, I had to leave work and come back to the hotel at noon to make them do it. After the fix, the AC only blew heat while set on cool. That evening, I went back to the front desk and they gave me a new room. My AC worked great in the 2nd room. Then the outside temp dropped to 50° and I realized this new room had AC but no heat. It stayed in the low 60°’s (F) and I froze in this room for the next 4 days. Never, never, never, never ever would I choose—or let my client choose—this hotel again!!!

"Extremely disappointed"

Beyond disappointed!! The pictures do not represent the hotel. I was very excited to stay here with my kids to be beyond disappointed and frustrated. We arrived early and while waiting for room to be ready went to the roof top pool. The area was filthy, the pool water was dirty. My son found a big pile of someone black hair on the chair he was going to sit in- a woman was sitting in the pool threw up in the pool and over the side in on the walk way! We went back to the office and informed them of what occurred on the roof top pool and were directed to their lower level pool where we were equally disappointed. Again pool water filthy and pictures shown on website were not true to what we witnessed. I went directly to front desk asked for our bags back and went across the street to the Kimpton surfcomber where the service and decor with cleanliness were worth the price. I probably won’t get my 400.00 back I paid for the hotel but wasn’t risking staying in dirty beds from witnessing the rest of the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel. And the puke in the pool with side walk wasn’t taken care of immediately because my son went to get my daughter 20 mins later to go across the street at the surfcomber. Beyond disgusting!!
