Had an awful and long check in, they tried to do me out of money, didn’t have a clue what they were doing was there nearly an hour, not what you need after late flight. Sent us to a room that was already taken . Got new room and couldn’t swing a cat . No space for cases we were jumping over them. Can see through the showers from outside. It’s for young people. the hall carpets need a good clean. Won’t be back

One of the worst hotels I've been to in the USA. A room being small is one thing, but it not containing closets or drawers is a whole new level. The bathroom and shower stall smelled; the furnishings are old and in disrepair; our safe was not working on our first day, asked multiple times to be fixed and never happened; pool water is cloudy; only one small pillow per person. The only win was the friendly staff, but they don't act on promises. I've been to better youth hostels in my 20s in the 1990s.

Had a good stay here overall with my pre-teen kids! Pros: Hotel decor was really fun, my kiddos loved it, the staff was polite and helpful, location was excellent, and the heated pool beyond wonderful on the chilly/rainy days. Our room (a quad bunk- see "fun" above!) was small but clean and thoughtfully designed with a great view, the bath had Muk products and plenty of towels. The hotel rooftop had incredible views and overall the hotel had a wonderful Miami vibe. Cons: Our room was v. cold with no heat option on the temp control pad, housekeeping included emptying trash and fresh towels but no made beds which was odd, and the pool grounds were dirty (hair, a pet peeve!). The pool issues could easily be remedied, as the two staff seemed mostly occupied with occasionally refilling fresh towels- important, to be sure, but otherwise seemed to be hanging about and not actively paying attention to guest needs (umbrellas, etc.). We brunched at Serena's once and it was delicious, I had a solid margarita at the bar, and overall, with a couple tweaks, this place would have easily earned my five stars. Thanks, Moxy, for a great Spring Break!
