1) Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City hosts one of the most acclaimed Christmas celebrations in America, Old Time Christmas. Over six million lights adorn the Branson theme park, and a dazzling five-story special effects Christmas tree is the perfect addition to the Town Square. Holiday music productions like “It’s a Wonderful Life” and the illuminating Holly Jolly Christmas Parade with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer add to the festive fun.

2) Christmas Shows

Branson Christmas shows spread Christmas cheer from ear-to-ear. Audience members are delighted by traditional Christmas classics, retellings of the Christmas story, and country spins on carols. Open November through December, the Branson Christmas show season is a favorite time of year for many.

3) Christmas Light Tours

You know you can get a great deal in Branson. That’s what makes holiday shopping so much fun! Branson Christmas shopping offers deep discounts at outlet malls like Tanger. Similarly, there’s always savings to had at local craft stores and flea markets. Beyond those options, you’re sure to find the perfect gift at name brand boutiques at the Branson Landing and savings at specialty stores. Trust me, the perfect gift is just a shopping trip away!

5) Christmas Parades

There are two main Christmas parades in Branson. First up is Branson Landing’s Most Wonderful Time of the Year Parade on November 3, 2018 at 10:00 am. Featuring performances by Branson show stars, this parade is dedicated to the late Andy Williams – also known as “Mr. Christmas.” Santa Claus also makes an appearance, which the kids love!

The second is the Branson Adoration Parade held December 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm. It starts with the annual lighting of the largest area nativity scene overlooking Lake Taneycomo at dusk. Then, festive floats, marching bands and merry characters start their march through Downtown Branson. This is a tradition for many, so be sure to arrive early for a good viewing spot.

Bonus: Titanic Luminaries

The Titanic Museum Attraction lights its entrance with more than 1,500 enchanting luminaries (festival lights) Thanksgiving Weekend. As a result, the corner of  76 Country Boulevard and Gretna Road will have a special nighttime glow. Visitors and locals alike are given a picture-perfect opportunity to shoot memorable holiday photos. Held November 22 through November 25, 2018. Also, throughout the months of November and December, the Titanic Museum is decorated for the holidays.
