And if you’re looking to add a little razzle-dazzle, Christmas Wonderland delivers high kicks and holiday hits that’ll leave you grinning like a kid on Christmas morning. Keep reading to unwrap all the Christmas show gems Branson has in store this season!

Hughes Brothers Christmas Show

This multi-generational spectacular lights up the Hughes Brothers Theatre on West 76 Country Boulevard with over 50 family performers, a live nativity, and festive dance numbers that’ll have your cheeks sore from smiling. The show runs approximately two hours with a 15-minute intermission, and you can enhance your night with a pre-show dinner that includes herb-roasted chicken, pork loin, and chocolate mousse served balcony-side.

Between Santa cameos and spirited skits, you’ll also witness a powerful message about the deeper meaning of the holiday. It’s a soul-warming display of love, talent, and top-tier Christmas music.

SIX Christmas

Get ready to be blown away by SIX Christmas, a jaw-dropping a cappella performance at Pepsi Legends Theater that feels like Pentatonix meets your childhood holiday playlist. Made up of six real-life Knudsen brothers, the group mixes slick choreography with laugh-out-loud moments and razor-sharp harmonies.

They belt out every iconic Christmas carol Tripster could ask for, all with zero instruments—just pure vocal wizardry. This Branson holiday show is a high-energy, feel-good celebration for the whole family.

Miracle of Christmas

Performed at Sight & Sound Theatres, Miracle of Christmas offers a cinematic-level telling of the Nativity story—complete with towering sets, live animals, and angelic music. You’ll follow Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem with visuals that feel more Broadway than Bible study.

The massive 300-foot stage and 2,000-seat theater make this production one of the grandest in Branson. If you want a show that’ll give you chills and tears (in the best way), this is it.

Christmas Wonderland

At King’s Castle Theatre, Christmas Wonderland is basically what would happen if the Rockettes took over Santa’s workshop. Expect sparkly costumes, high-kicking chorus girls, and big-band renditions of “White Christmas,” “Silent Night,” and everything in between.

It’s two hours of glittering nostalgia, complete with synchronized dancing and elaborate sets that scream holiday cheer. Bonus: the candy cane costumes deserve their own standing ovation.

Cassandre Voice of an Angel Christmas Spectacular

Cassandre’s vocals are otherworldly—and her Christmas Spectacular at Pepsi Legends Theater lives up to its heavenly hype. Backed by The Stardust Band and co-star Timothy Haygood on violin, the show seamlessly moves from retro classics to tear-jerking holiday ballads.

There’s comedy too (shoutout to Aunt Erma and her sass), but it’s the vocal precision and stunning costumes that steal the show. Come for the glitter, stay for the goosebumps.

A Christmas Story Dinner Show

If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing Flick get his tongue stuck live on stage, you’re in luck. A Christmas Story Dinner Show at Shepherd of the Hills Playhouse brings the beloved film to life with a hearty side of holiday comfort food—think glazed ham, turkey, and apple crisp served at your seat.

You’ll laugh, you’ll quote every line, and you’ll definitely spot the infamous leg lamp. It’s dinner theater done right with a nostalgic twist.

A Shepherd’s Christmas Carol Dinner Show

This charming dinner show remixes Dickens with a rustic Ozarks flair at the Shepherd of the Hills Playhouse Theatre. Set years after the events of the Shepherd of the Hills novel, the story follows a grumpy Ollie Stewart as neighbors try to pull him into the holiday spirit.

While the acting keeps things light and lively, the real star might be the turkey dinner and pumpkin dessert combo. Think of it as “A Christmas Carol” if it were set in Mayberry—and served with mashed potatoes.

We just went to Branson and had a wonderful time. One thing you missed was the show “Jesus”. It was definitely the best show that we saw. The sets and special effects were spectacular. It is not necessarily a Christmas show but what better way to celebrate Christmas than to see the story of the man Christmas is all about. 🙂

Lori, great recommendation! JESUS is a round-year performance and this article was focused mostly on limited-time seasonal events and shows. However, you are right and JESUS is a fantastic production to see this time of year. We have updated the article to include the production. Thanks for the feedback!
