Terrible! This should be a 2 star hotel! Worst service and hotel I have stayed in. Spoke to the manager not willing to compensate me for what I endured. Room smells of raw sewage at 3 am, toilet makes noises. Smoke alarm goes off when you take a shower. Paid full price for a low budget hotel that markets themselves as 4 star!

We have stayed at the Dolphin several times before without issue but this time will probably make us switch to another hotel. Upon check in the front desk staff person was rude, our ambassador status was not recognized, no welcome gift/points options offered or free drink tickets as is usual with Marriott and our previous stays and stays at many other Marriotts worldwide. We also received no upgrade, not even a mention that is wasn't available. When we asked about possible upgrades she responded with this is the room you booked. The room had inconsistent hot water, the color on the tv was greyed out in a large triangle starting from the top of the tv, the wifi was inconsistent and cut out for video calls, and the AC/heating unit sounded like a train. The customer service experience and rooms need an overhaul.

"Nice rooms, weak service"

Didn’t have my room ready until after 5. To be fair the rooms are nice and clean and I did get an upgrade so I felt a little better although it was quite an inconvenience. Room service brought me a bottle of water instead of coffee in the morning and when I pointed that out, they just looked on the receipt and said “it says you ordered water, so you’ll just have to call and order the coffee again.” Who has time for another 45 minute wait in the morning so I thought that was not particularly helpful. Finally, I asked for a late check out until 1pm and was only granted until noon. Generally I wouldn’t complain but especially give the delay in getting a room at check in I thought they may be more accommodating. That was basically the theme. Nice facility but the service just wasn’t what you might expect at a luxury resort. Everyone does their job, but that’s about it. Nobody trying to ensure you have a great stay. Not much choice for lunch on campus. Most restaurants are not open evening.

To everyone looking to stay at the Disney hotels I absolutely want to tell you all that the dolphin hotel was the best time I ever had the last time I was here I stayed at the pop century and although it was ok this Dolphin hotel beats that by 100% the rooms are huge I went with my 19 yr old son and we had a 2 queen bed room and it was just perfect for us the service the foyer the shops the surrounding the feeling was unbelievable I didn’t want to leave I wanted to finish my next 3 weeks in America right there to get to the parks you can take boats ski lifts Disney buses you don’t have a thing to worry about just have fun at the parks we didn’t have fast track and we waited 80 minutes for a 3 minute ride but we figured out that you can purchase fast track rides individually for 35 US and it gives you 3 fast tracks per park which we loved and that was fantastic but next time I would definitely get the unlimited fast tracks because when you love the ride you just want to go again and again and you can’t do that on the 35 US ticket I researched extensively the hotel and the dolphin and swan were the best in price and best in quality hope this helps your decision I never give reviews but I just had to

"Disney Dolphin Hotel Stay"

This hotel entryways, restaurants and outdoor spaces are very nice, but the room needs a little work. The bathroom is very small and the shower needs to be updated. There is some visible damage to the shower door and opening it seem a little restricted. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite member I would have hoped to have at least gotten the fireworks view but they put us on the lake side.
