"A fun park with some nice variety of coasters "

Had a great time at this park, had to go around to ride everything as it all opened at different times during the week but that was ok so I got a chance to see the whole park. It's a nice sized park with some really great coasters, spent most of the day there and even got to the water park. I was pretty impressed, I've been to other parks in the chain and this was very nice. If you enjoy parks and will be in the area I recommend especially if you have season passes. My friend had the meal plan so we split something, the food was nothing special but I find that chain wide. I was happy to find a few souvenirs in large sizes. I would definitely return if in the area, I had a really fun time.

I went to valley scare and it was a watered down version of a haunted house. They were more concerned about making money than making enjoyable memories for the guests. It was so packed that there was a constant line of people. So much that the actors didn’t have time to reset. They were left just walking around aimlessly. You could tell even the actors were disappointed. Beware that there is no limit to people they let into the park making it a nightmare to get on rides and see the haunted houses. We paid an extra $160 when we got into the park on top of admission just to be able to see the haunted houses. And then we were disappointed because of the conga line of people they had going in.

Got there and had to walk blocks just to get to the end of the line to enter the park, then spent an hour in line to get in the park while watching a ton of people budge in front of us in the line. Then got to the gate and our tickets that we bought half off on Friday the 13th they said they expired a week ago, even thought our friends we were with bought theirs the same day and they got in just fine. So they made us buy the full price ticket to get in. Then finally got in and got in line for a ride. Waited in line for another hour and a half. Finally road one ride, the park closes in an hour. We walked to another ride and stood in line for a couple minutes and realized we wouldn’t make it to the front before they closed so we left. All that to ride one ride. What a waste of money

"Don't pay for the long lines, the parking, the power hungry security, the lack of scarers, and over priced drinks and fo"

I never make reviews but feel like I needed to based on my experience at valleyscare. Me and bunch of friends went here on 10/4/24. And had as good of a time as we could. I'll just say that there are a lot of freights at valleyscare and it's not just the lack of scarers. The prices of things have skyrocketed and make the experience a lot less fun and very lackluster. $50 ticket price after tax with slight discount $26 parking that has lines to get in and to get out of (this added about an extra 2 hours of our day) $16 drinks that do not have enough bang for the buck $15 for a slice of pizza This immediately made the experience feel very cash grabby and definitely didn't make it a good time. Another thing that made the experience less enjoyable is security. I understand they are there to make sure people do not cause issues and if one comes up to settle it. Which they were good at. Just a bit too good. my friends small bag that looked about the same size as a purse or the same size as my other friends bag is not gonna do anything to anyone. After it had been scanned and searched throughly they told them they were not allowed to bring it in and they had to walk back to the car and put it away and then had to wait in a very long line again that takes about 30 minutes to get through. Security didn't even try to help and find another solution. (I.e let them go through another way to avoid the line.) Just told them tuff luck. (Another incident with Security) Security also stopped us from returning to our group after a couple of us had to use the bathroom while in line. There should be a way to slip back into lines to rejoin groups cause the lines are far to long to have to go back through them again. I.e. temp fast pass just to rejoin them when you get back (at least for the haunts cause that’s what we are there for). It's not that serious and having to go through the haunted house having a good time with friends is the whole point of the experience. Even after explaining things to the security person they just said no cutting like a child would. Just a very unpleasant experience when you have to pay for this type of service. Overall I would not go to valleyscare again or recommend valleyscare to anyone cause the only thing you will be scared of is the high prices and the lack of humility. Giving valleyscare 2 stars! It was only fun cause of friends and I didn't need to pay for them. Don't pay for the long lines, the parking, the power hungry security, the lack of scarers, and over priced drinks and food. Use your money wisely and don't make my mistake.

"Valleyscare / terrible"

They were not as organized with the ValleyScare. They didn’t advertise that an ID was needed and as I somehow didn’t get ID’d and got to the ticket scanners they flagged my ticket( tried getting in earlier not knowing we were suppose to be there at around 5:30 instead- again poor advertisement) and had me go back to customer service to have them sort it out. They also asked for my ID and the card I paid the ticket with which I did not have my wallet on me at all. It was a terrible experience and felt like they made me jump through hoops. Heed in mind that I left my wallet at home since I was not planning on buying any food there whatsoever and I wasn’t the driver so I had no need at all to bring it along. Oh and apparently because I didn’t have my card, I won’t get my refund until 30 days later even though I have an email that shows that I had bought the ticket. They don’t know how to run certain things in my opinion.
