Description

from Titanic Museum Attraction
Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson, Missouri opens the door to the past in its one-of-a-kind way – letting “passengers” experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. As visitors touch a real iceberg, walk the Grand Staircase and third-class hallways, reach their hands into 28-degree water, and try to stand on the sloping decks, they learn what it was like on the RMS Titanic by experiencing it first-hand.

Each guest entering the ship will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew. Feel their spirit presence in the galleries where over 400 personal and private artifacts are on display. Many are on display for the first time in the world. This collection is valued at over four and a half million dollars. This is a self-guided tour.

Discover your passenger or crew’s fate in the Titanic Memorial Room where 2,208 names line this historic wall.

"ENLIGHTING EXPERIENCE"
September 2019 NEW
If you are fascinated by historical tragic events this is something you don't want to pass up. This is a self guided tour and depending how much you want to get down into the details you could spend 3 hours at the museum. You have a hand held device that explains what your looking at and there are numerous pictures and artifacts with their descriptions. My husband and I found it to be very interesting and informative. I don't know that children would appreciate the experience.

Tip: A lot of walking so if you need help in navigating through the museum you can use a walker or a wheelchair. Also, there is an elevator so you don't have to climb any stairs.

We enjoy going through the Titanic attraction ever time we're in Branson. It seems we learn more and more everytime we go. It is definitely enjoyable but sad at the same time that such a tragic accident has become such a huge impact on U.S. history.

"Branson’s Titanic Museum"
August 2019
This is the third Titanic Exhibit I have visited. The first was at the Pyramid museum in Memphis in the late 90’s. The next was in St Louis several year later
Branson’s was by far the best. It began with the outside of the museum as a replica of the ship itself. The inside continued the excellence from the grand staircase to the docents dressed as 1912 seamen. They were so informative and helped bring that awful yet awesome night alive again

Tip: Plan on spending at least two hours there. Children I observed there were absolutely fascinated and not at all frightened by the experience

It was very interesting and we enjoyed it. I like that they have an audio option in case you don't want to read everything. They don't allow photos to be taken inside the museum, which is completely understandable. We enjoyed it.

We loved this museum. Very interesting with a lot of artifacts. Expect to read a little and learn something about the Titanic. Very cool museum. Note that you can't take pictures or video in the museum but you will leave with an appreciation of what the passengers went through and how difficult the Titantic was to reach on the ocean floor.

"Outstanding museum with excellent exhibits!"

What an incredible and memorable experience! Even the outside of the building is impressive. Seeing the film about the discovery of the ship's final resting place and learning about the crew, passengers and so many things about the voyage was amazing. Feeling the slick ice of an ice berg or plunging your hand into a barrel of water as cold as the water the day of the sinking was truly shocking. The replicas of the bridge, grand staircase, 3rd berth cabin, 1st class cabin and the boiler room and more were well-done and educational. The many, many photographs and stories were moving. We had our photo taken against the blue wall and love the pictures of us "on the Titanic."
