"Don’t stay here"

The stay was horrible. I sent the below review and after several phone calls to the hotel, MARIA told me she would refund me $50.00....what a joke. I have pictures of everything a sent it to management. They do not care. DO NOT spend your money at this AWARD WINNING hotel. We decided to come to Branson to celebrate our engagement and get away after my mother's passing. I called the hotel before arriving and asked multiple questions. We arrived early knowing there would be a $25.00 early check-in fee (this is what we were told on the phone). We checked in and were then notified the early check in would be a $50.00 fee...(different than what we were first told), we paid it since we had a long drive and wanted to relax for a little while. We walked in the room and the mildew smell was very off putting. We booked a room with a whirlpool tub so we could relax and enjoy some quiet time together. This whirlpool tub was filthy and the finish is peeling off. Filled the tub and white paint flakes were floating in the water. The room did not have a microwave, holes in the wall, finish peeling off the bathtub, the blow dryer did not work, the lock on the door was broken and not secure to the door frame, and the TV was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel (thankfully I was not there to watch TV). The furniture in the hallways was very tacky. We did talk to the front desk multiple times and nothing was ever addressed. I have stayed in MANY hotels and this one was very unimpressive. Not very award winning and the pictures on your website are misleading. At check out, we mentioned these issues again and the gentleman at the front desk looked at me like I was an alien. When we finally arrived back home, I looked at my receipt and noticed a $30.00 resort fee we were never told about. We never used the pool, the hot tub and never ate the breakfast provided.

"Only sleep here, food terrible"

The hotel room itself was nice and comfortable. The check in process was not smooth, waited a long time (which couldn’t be helped), but the young lady didn’t give any details… essentially just where the rooms was. The first night we decided to hang to hang out and eat at the “poolside bar”. It was huge letdown… the food was not at what one would expect & super pricey. More like what my kids would make in the toaster oven at home, think labeling a hamburger as a steak situation. It took an hour to get it and some of it was over cooked. The waitress was friendly and sweet, not her fault. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed sitting out on the a nice night. The inside “heated” pool was very cold. We came for breakfast the next morning because it was cheap and breakfast is pretty hard to mess up. It was just okay, for the price I can’t complain… There are however cats living poolside where people are being served and eating. I didn’t mind the cats…. But a kid came out with a piece of bacon with tongs from the buffet and was feeding it to the cats, while holding the tongs. The lovely waitress got the tongs away from him and went to clean them. But the kids first said “it didn’t touch the ground, I was going to put them back”. I wonder how many times that kid has done that and no one caught him…. 🤢… we were guessing maybe the kid frequents this place w family, as the staff seemed to know him.

"Dated hotel but the rooms were clean"

Decided to take a small vacation to Branson and stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel was pretty dated but the rooms were clean. I had booked the room through Booking.com and was quoted a rate of $287.30 for the 3 night stay. When I checked my credit card after I got home, Clarion billed me $325.91. I have tried contacting them with the phone number that is on their website and it says the phone number is not active. I have also emailed them twice with no response. If you decide to stay here, be sure to check the amount they are going to charge you and compare it to the quote you were given by the company you booked through. There is a good chance they might pull this little stunt with you too.

"Wonderful hotel & best hotel to stay in Branson!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

This hotel is great & we have been coming here every year for 8 years! We would give this hotel 10 stars if we could!!! Each year it has been getting even better!!! This year we were pleasantly surprised with lots of upgrades! There is now a new murder mystery show, pools & hot tubs open 24/7, furniture is being upgraded in the lobby & all of the rooms! There is a new pool bar & grill that also serves buffet breakfast. The food is very good with lots of breakfast choices! One of the many reasons why we come to this hotel is because they have the most comfortable beds & the BEST pillows! We have been to many hotels in Branson & once we found this one we haven't gone anywhere else! Another perk to us is that we can walk to quite a few places from our hotel & dont have to drive. This year we mentioned that it was my birthday during our stay & when we came back to our room after a day of shopping there were balloons (including a Happy birthday balloon) and 2 packs of cookies & a birthday card in front of our door!! Super nice owner & his family & staff! They are great people & took time out of their dinner to talk to us! The Clarion is the only hotel we will stay at in Branson for sure!

10/10 highly recommend! Located in the heart of Branson walking distance from enough fun to fill your entire trip! Indoor and outdoor heated pools, poolside bar, restaurant on site and so much more! Every room has a private balcony and the hotel has so much charm! My family and I had an absolute blast here we didn’t want to leave. The owner/manager Jeremiah was so friendly and cares a lot about his work. One of the staff members, O’Nessa was so great with my children and we might return just to see her! You’d be mistaken to miss out on this property. It was perfect!
