The Florida Aquarium in Tampa is absolutely amazing! We enjoyed it so much from beginning to end. Everything was beautiful, clean, and fun to explore. We especially loved seeing how they feed the animals, it was such a unique and exciting experience. You can really tell the animals are well cared for. We had an unforgettable time and would definitely love to come back!

"Really good Aquarium"
April 2026 NEW
It looks pretty small when you arrive, but it has a lot of stuff inside. There is a big variety, and it's great to visit with kids. They enjoyed all... The small park inside close to the Tampa port is cool, too. Recommended.

"Underwhelming"
April 2026 NEW
The Florida Aquarium was just okay. We’ve been to many aquariums and we were excited about this one as it was advertised as top ten, but it was very underwhelming. There’s basically just the upstairs area and that’s it. There’s are definitely cool areas such as the Florida River exhibit, the lemurs were cool, too. Unfortunately, my 4 year old daughter saw the pictures and advertising of the penguins, but was devastated when we figured out that the penguins are only a paid exhibit and it was too late in the day to buy tickets. Overall, it was just okay.
