Connected by sky bridge to the Tampa Convention Center, Embassy Suites Tampa Downtown Convention Center is close to the beaches of St. Pete and Clearwater. A complimentary made-to-order breakfast and evening reception are provided. Amalie Arena is a five minutes' walk away.

This all-suite hotel includes wet bar with mini-refrigerator and microwave. A flat-screen TV is provided as well.

TASTE is an onsite restaurant, offering an ingredient-driven food experience. Other dining options include Cascade which serves complimentary breakfast and Starbucks. The property also provides 10,000 sq ft of flexible meeting space for events and weddings. Embassy Suites Tampa Downtown Convention Center is located right on the TECO streetcar line for easy transportation around Tampa city center and the Ybor City entertainment district. "Great breakfast, inconsistent housekeeping"

This was my first time at this Emabssy Suites. I liked the proximity to the convention center and the Straz for our convention. The breakfast was great, with special shout-outs to Steve for handling such large groups and Willie at the Omelet Station for a consistently great start to the day. Housekeeping on the other hand was incredibly inconsistent. For example towels were taken when dirty but not replaced, there was water already in the coffee maker reservoir when we went to use it 2 days into our 6 day stay, and the extra roll of toilet paper was not replaced when used. Worst of all was the persistent smell of cigarette smoke when we opened the door to the room. Our school uses this hotel every year for this annual convention so I hope the housecleaning improves before next spring.

BREAKFAST STEVE!! Steve A makes this yearly stay with my thespian troupe a joy. I have been staying at this hotel with my students since it was built and the staff continue to go above and beyond to make the stay fantastic. Steve deals with HUNDREDS of groggy teens every day we are there in March and his smile and cheer make a real difference. He and every staff member here are outstanding. I will always request this hotel!
