"Great For Out Trip!"

Great Hotel pretty centrally located! We stayed her for the Buccaneers Playoff game and the 2 Queen Suite was perfect for us. Breakfast was your typical hotel buffet breakfast but worked well for us. The restaurant Taste was fairly good as well and very quick for lunch pick up! Room was clean and well maintained. Any staff we did interact with was great! Overall a solid stay for our intentions!

"Exceptional Service -- Average (At Best) Property"

From a Lifetime Diamond -- stayed here before a cruise and normally stay at Hampton or Hone2Suites close to cruise port. I wanted to stay here based upon reviews and try out this property -- at the end of the day I will go back to the other two as their properties are in much better shape. Let me explain..... 1st- -- the staff is absolutely amazing and goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. From the valet team, to front desk to room staff their smiles and "can do" attitudes are infectious. Thanks for that...... 2nd -- however the hotel and rooms are in much need or repair. The place feels and looks "old". It takes a few issues for me to downgrade a property -- so let me advise why: bed sheet was torn & stain, lamp shades are wrinkled and dirty, blinds did not work properly, heater would not go past 68 degrees, used and abused furniture......I can go on. Lots of damage still from the recent storms so i gave lots of grace there. However if I am obligated to pay a certain price for a room -- I expect that room to meet the level of my expense. Simple as that..... 3rd -- Location: Right across the street from the Conv Center and Sports Venue with ease of walk to multiple restaurants and a local Publix grocery store. A $50 Uber ride to/from the airport. So if the need is to be in the center of the city -- a property to consider Overall an OK stay -- but given cost I get better value for my money at the Hampton or Home2Sutes close by. Once the property invests in their rooms I will consider a return.....I hope so as their staff is exceptional and works hard. And I appreciate their service.

Alyssa was such a big help! We came to the hotel and ordered 20 rooms. Some of the rooms did not have the correct bed situation. However, with staff like Alyssa, our stay was made easy and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the staff cleaned our rooms and did not intrude on our privacy. We are fully happy with our stay at the Embassy suites downtown Tampa.

"Staying for a service learning trip and volunteered at different sites across the Tampa Area"

Was here for a service learning trip with Fairleigh Dickinson University and I must say this was an excellent Hilton property. The highlight of my stay had to be the making your own omelette station. An interesting person I met during the breakfast time was Steve and he was very nice to this little kid. I overall enjoyed the fact that the location was near walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Would definitely consider trying again if I am back in the Tampa area near the convention center.
