We bought the vouchers from Tripster and they worked like a charm. We got right in the park and got our wristbands for the meal option. We were lucky to have gone only a couple of days before they shut down the park.

"Good times at Busch Gardens Tampa"
August 2019
We had a great time at Busch Gardens Tampa. They have some awesome rides and all kinds of animals in the safari. The only negative I had was the safari ride was discontinued and you now have to pay $39.99 to go on a tour. We did the all day dining, it was totally worth it between the three parks.

"Busch Gardens"

I bought tickets for Busch Gardens of Tripster which included the all day food package. I took my two nephews that are 14 and 15 years old. The food package was half the price it would have been if purchased at the park. So it was a significant savings, and the wrist bands for the package allowed the boys to run around the park all day without having to carry money or hook up with adults when they wanted food and drinks. Since the temperature was in the upper 90's, I'm sure we saved money just on the drinks before even adding in the food. I also save money on the admission fare. I would definitely use Tripster again.

When we booked our trip they were open on Mondays so we reserved tickets for a Monday. We got an email a few days before Monday saying that they were now closed on Mondays. That was going to be our stop on our way home from our vacation. They would not refund our money for anything. Monday was the only day we could go. We live 19 hours away! It wasn’t our fault they changed the day they were closed. I could understand if we had just decided not to go, but it was out of our control.

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!"

First visit to BG, Tampa and very disappointed. This park not only needs to be updated but they need additional staff. Patrons were not social distancing in the long lines and some weren’t even wearing a mask on their face. There was not enough staff to enforce the rules. I didn’t see anyone cleaning at the tables in restaurants. With the heat being 100 degrees there should have been more cooling off areas and more drink stations. I’m not sure if anyone actually updates the wait times on the app but they were wrong. My son and daughter waited 2 hours for their one and only ride of the day. All the lines were too lengthy. . It appears that they are cleaning rides in between unloading and reloading which is very time consuming. After experiencing short lines , frequent wiping of railings and tables, respectful social distancing, and hand sanitizing (given by staff to ensure it gets done before entering the ride) at Universal Studios we realized we should have gone there a second day instead of wasted time and money at BG.

It's not worth going to busch gardens during the covid-19 pandemic. The lines are from 1 to 2 hours of wait time because they keep leaving more than half the rides empty due to social distancing and most of the rides are closed due to maintenance. The park is also closing at 6pm leaving you with little time to ride the rides especially all of them. They charge over $105 per ticket to wait in lines in the burning sun for 2 or 3 rides. I had a horrible experience I wont come back till this pandemic issue is resolved.

"Doing Their Best During the Pandemic"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed June 23, 2020 NEW
I am an annual Pass Member. My expectations will be different than people buying a one day ticket. I attended the park back on Monday June 15 by myself and returned on Monday June 22 with family. As everyone knows we are in the middle of a Pandemic. I live near the park and enjoy taking my grandchildren who have Fun Cards for 4-5 hours normally. Sometimes I just like to walk around, see the animals and shows. This is what I think BG is doing right during this Pandemic. 1. Face coverings are required and employees will kindly encourage you to keep them on at all times. There are mask-free rest area's that were hard to locate on my first visit. I encourage BG to add a Mask-Free area with A/C in Pantopia. 2. MANY hand sanitizer stations! Several outdoor wash hand washing stations. However, keep a small bottle in your pocket. 3. Temperature check stations are fast and in large tents when you first arrive. 4. A lot of one way and 6 feet distance signs. 5. All self serve drink machines to refill your BG bottles ARE CLOSED. There are areas and 3 restaurants where you can by bottle water and soft drinks. 6. Limiting the park to my understanding to 10,000 visitors a day at this time. I pretty sure there were less than 1500 visitors. 7. All employees do wear their masks at all times even in 92 degree heat. What I was surprised to see or not see. 1. In Sesame Street the rides are open but the seats ARE NOT wiped down after each use. I do not know what they are doing on the larger rides. They did not wipe down the carousel either. 2. The only water splash area open is in Sesame Street which we did not visit so I cannot tell you if there are restrictions. Attractions I noticed that were not open during my visits. 1. Flume ride 2. Sky Ride 3. All rope climbing ares (Tree tops and Sesame Street) 5. All shows except Sesame Show. 6. Animal Hospital 7. Kangaroos 8. both Aviaries Visitors behaviors 1. Many people kept their masks on. Few had their noses sticking out. Occasionally you would see someone with their mask down around their neck. 2. Most people are respectful at keeping the 5-6 foot distancing. Families stay together and I think because of the heat kids are not running around aimlessly. 3. Teenagers tend to forget the 6 feet distancing. Employees were helpful in answering my questions. When one of us needed to just breathe without the mask on for a second we were approached by a respectful and understandable employee. Because my Silver Membership was renewed during the closure they upgraded it to a Gold Membership. I think that upgrade may only last till the end of December 2020. Overall, the heat was the most difficult to deal with. We did bring our own waters and snacks. I will not go on a weekend until the virus is gone, I think even at 10,000 it would be too crowded for my comfort.
