"Good times at Busch Gardens Tampa"
August 2019
We had a great time at Busch Gardens Tampa. They have some awesome rides and all kinds of animals in the safari. The only negative I had was the safari ride was discontinued and you now have to pay $39.99 to go on a tour. We did the all day dining, it was totally worth it between the three parks.

"Busch Gardens"
July 2019
I bought tickets for Busch Gardens of Tripster which included the all day food package. I took my two nephews that are 14 and 15 years old. The food package was half the price it would have been if purchased at the park. So it was a significant savings, and the wrist bands for the package allowed the boys to run around the park all day without having to carry money or hook up with adults when they wanted food and drinks. Since the temperature was in the upper 90's, I'm sure we saved money just on the drinks before even adding in the food. I also save money on the admission fare. I would definitely use Tripster again.

"Not for young kids"

Not for young kids. It’s all roller coasters. The roller coasters are all awesome and quite long. The all day dining is a hoax. They make you go to to certain food stands to get a bracelet. So if you don’t want to eat there you still need to wait in line to get the bracelet and then you can go to the place you want to eat at. What a joke. The Smoke House for food was not good. All the meats were to salty to eat. The fries were good. The whole pickles were good. The chocolate cake was decent. The pulled pork sandwich was not great. The sausage was the only thing worth eating there. The park map is impossible to follow. We had a group of adults with the kids and all of us could not figure out how to get around. Terrible layout. The safari was terrible. Cool animals but you spend more time on the train not looking at animals than you do looking at them. If you love roller coasters then it’s worth the money otherwise you should probably stay away. Also beware a lot of the rides your child needs to be 54”. My 9 year old could only do half of the rides.

Parking is $25 regular or $35 preferred. If you get there early enough standard parking is right by the gate. No need to spend extra on parking. We went on a Wednesday. We picked a great day. No lines no waits. We went all coasters in less than 3 hours. We played games and stayed a total Of 5 hours to get 5 meals 😂 $39.99 for the day to eat. We arrived at 9:30am. It was a great day and so much fun. We did the day meal plan and ate 5 times. Definitely worth it every 60 minutes you can get a meal. Set your timer on your cellphone bring Ziploc bags and eat away 🤣 or save for later. If you have a season pass you get a discount also. A lot of food to choose from and delicious. Definitely a great park to visit. Great gift shops also.

"Best day at a theme park I’ve ever had "
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed February 19, 2020 NEW
I’ve been to a lot of theme parks over the years with my young sons age 10 and 5 and have actually come to Florida on holiday primarily for Disney and Universal. However this trip to Busch Gardens on a weekday in February will go down as the best day of our holiday. The rollercoasters are outstanding compared to Disney - there are around 5 major rides and all of them are great. Cheetahs Run was incredible. The lines were short and we were literally able to walk straight on Sheikra time after time with no waiting. There are also good intermediate rides for the littler ones such as sand serpent and scorpion. It’s a fairly pretty park with the animal areas providing some extra interest and a contrast to the coasters. I’m never going to be able to go to Alton Towers in the UK again after this place which is truly an amazing theme park. I would recommend any Brits sick of the Disney long waiting times for mediocre rides to make the trip to Busch Gardens for at least one or 2 days.

Beautifully landscaped, great ice show! Focus has changed over the years -- now more on rides, less on animals. I miss Orchid Canyon and being able to watch animals from Crown Colony. Otherwise, still great!
