"Good location downtown"

We stayed here since we attended a lecture that was being held at the hotel. Parking is by valet only. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly - including the valet staff. We used the app to obtain our electronic key for our room which helped us avoid the line for check-in. Options for dinner are limited since their dining room is closed but the lounge is open - which is a much smaller area. The room was quiet - except for the occasional barking of the dog in the room next door to ours.

The front desk staff are amazing! Especially Aydan who hoped me figure out my honors membership number. They are speedy and efficient. The room is great and the pool is amazing as ever. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you for making my stay wonderful!

"Great experience with Wedding Block"

My son booked the Hilton as the hotel for his out of town wedding guests. The rate was reasonable but we had to guarantee a certain percentage of rooms reserved so we erred on the low side in reserving a block. Our block sold out and we still had additional guests with no rooms. It was a bit of a snafu but Brittany the catering coordinator did her best to solve this issue. Although we had to book some guests in another hotel it all worked out. Once we resolved this Brittany was absolutely fantastic in getting our gift boxes delivered, and answering all our questions and solving concerns. She even gave me her cell phone number so I could text her (which I did often). She really shined when she discovered we could not get an early check in for the bridal suite (which was critical because we had an early rehearsal). She was able to move some things around and upgraded them to a larger suite and gave us a great rate on an upgrade to the groomsmen suite which we used as a “getting ready” room as well. Overall Brittany made a stressful time with challenging circumstances much better. I would not hesitate to work with Brittany again. If I could make any improvement it would be to update the suites as they looked a bit dated but frankly for the purposes of housing and entertaining the bridal party they were quite adequate. Lastly, I asked Brittany if she could request turn down service so that the suite (which had just been invaded by 6 women with hair and makeup) could be cleaned by the time the couple returned from the wedding. This was done and housekeeping even left a note and a bottle of champagne. Great job and please give Brittany a raise!

The Valet was great with Jacob Z helping around and bringing the car promptly. Very nice guy and had smile on face whole time. Car was in great shape when he brought it back. Pillows in hotel were comfy along with the bed. Also reception hall for wedding was great for party.

I stayed at the Tampa Hilton for two days and one night while in town for the Metallica concert — and what an incredible experience it was! The highlight of my stay, without a doubt, was the pool bar, where I was looked after by the amazing Stevee. She was the absolute embodiment of attention and care. Every drink she made was perfect, and she delivered each one with an unforgettable smile and warm energy that made me feel genuinely welcomed. Stevee took hospitality to another level — so much so that I’ll be returning specifically because of the way she treated me. If you’re staying at the Hilton Tampa, do yourself a favor and stop by the pool bar. Stevee will make your visit unforgettable.
