"Really nice day!"
August 2019
This was my first time ever going to a six flags and I loved it! It was a lot of fun and it had amazing roller coasters! The only thing I didn’t love was that they would shut all the rides down if it even looked like it might start raining, which was quite a few times throughout the day. Tripster was really easy to use, offered us a great deal, and worked the same as any other ticket.

"Ridiculous pricing for beverages!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We are season pass holders. Overall, the park offers a variety of entertainment for people of all ages. Our daughters really enjoy Hurricane Harbor. However, we visited Six Flags yesterday and proceeded to buy a regular 20 oz Dasani bottle of water. We had 8 bottles, as we had a group of 8. When we were ready to pay, they asked us for close to $50 for only the 8 bottles of water. This is ridiculous! When we asked what the price for an individual bottle was - $5.88!!!! I understand that beverages and food are more expensive at any entertainment facility. However, I can buy a case of 24 Dasani bottles for $6 at Walmart. Please, do not charge people this insane amount of money for a single bottle of water. If anything, you are pushing people away from purchasing beverages and food at the park with this up-pricing strategy. People, please bring your own water!

"Go here only if you wish to die."

DO NOT GO TO THIS SIX FLAGS IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!! They do not practice social distancing AT ALL. Signs tell patrons to do so but literally, and I mean LITERALLY, no one enforces any health guidelines whatsoever. Patrons in lines stand directly behind you and workers say nothing. I almost got into 3 seperate fights asking people to back up. Social distancing inside the restaurants are non existent aside from 6 inch yellow stickers asking folks not to sit at certain tables. These tags are not only ignored by customers, with zero enforcement, but even the workers themselves ignore them while taking their breaks. I pray that law enforcement or government agencies in charge or regulating these things step in and SOON. People are going to contract, infect and die due to the abysmal management of health regulations.

"Can you ride if you are plus size?"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed July 15, 2020 NEW
Before we went I looked for information about the rides being accessible to plus size people. I am 5'7 and wear size 18 pants. I feel that most of my problems with the rides are my hips and tummy area. I was able to ride Superman, Jokers Jinx, Roar, The Wild One and Minderaser. Roar and The Wild One are wooden coasters and if I was any larger in the hips I would not have fit. The other coasters I was fine riding but if my tummy was any larger I believe it would not have been able to ride minderaser as it has pull down/ over the shoulder restraints and was snug. I believe I voukd ride Firebird because they have similar restraints. Superman and Jokers Jinx were both lap bars with seat belts. The main issue I can see is that you legs must be inside the lap bar. I was comfortable but another 2 inches would have been too snug. My husband wears 4xl and carries is weight in his belly and thighs. He was unable to ride any of the coasters. The only ride that had a seat to try out before waiting in line was was Superman. My daughter has hips almost the same size as me and she was able to ride the swings and Wonder woman Lasso of Truth with no issues. My husband could not. So in my opinion if your hips are larger then size 20 pants be prepared for a very snug fit or not yo be able to fit on the coasters. But everyones body is a different shape and you won't know until you try. I did find an articke that said that inverted coasters had "big boy seats" in the 5th row but did not confirm that while I was there. This is a smaller amusement park. We were there while they were restricting the amount of people in the park. They were only using one train per coaster and everyother row. With the exception of Firebird all were walk on. The employees wrre friendly and courteous. We plan to return to do the water park and wet rides another day. It's a good little park and if you get the membership it's a steal since it's then good at all the other Six Flags parks.

"COVID-19 Doesn't Stop the Fun"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed July 07, 2020
I was very surprised at the number of COVID-19 measures the park took to ensure safety. All trips are by reservation, only. You MUST make a reservation to get any sort of entrance into the park. There's a temperature check at the gate, and you do have to wear a mask to get in. My daughter and I brought a bunch of disposable gloves, too. And we were off. Don't feel sorry that the water park is not yet open-- there are plenty of opportunities to get wet. You can ride the Penguin River Blast and come away pretty moist. Shipwreck Falls is still working and that splash down will leave you absolutely soaked. Plus, you can get right back on the cross over bridge and get soaked all over again. The rides will not have long lines because the park is limiting the amount of visitors it receives at the moment. That is a huge treat; my daughter and I got on so many rides. I am mobility impaired, and each ride was handicapped accessible. A fair bit of warning; it's the beginning of a season with a late start so they are still ironing out some of the kinks on the more thrill seeking rides. The food was amazing. Mostly, you'll have to order on the mobile app, so download it before you go to the park. The food is no contact, so it all comes in neatly packaged, firm containers. My daughter and I ate Beef Nachos at Macho Nacho. It's absolutely filling and totally worth buying the Dining Pass for the season. We used our snack at Coffee and Cones with killer milkshakes. So what's missing besides the crowd? No face painting, few games, no shows, no characters, and no street dancing. Overall you gotta admit, it beats the home and backyard.
