"Nice hotel"

This is a reliably nice Hampton Inn. Everything was expected except that we were given a handicapped room and the bathroom was completely flooded blwheb we took showers. They really need to resolve this and we did not ask for or need a handicapped room. Breakfast was fine.

"Not Hilton Standards"

We stepped in or rather splashed into an elevator that we were told that ( but not warned) a bucket of water had been spilled by an employee. Twelve hours later the water had still not been taken care of. Wet shoes and wet luggage were not appreciated. Breakfast was on a par with that of the Spark we had stayed at the night before. The only difference was we did not have to share it with employees at Spark. It was 8:30 not closing time at 10. We instead chose to take a bag to go. The bag contained a water, a bagel that was wrapped by who knows who and a yellow piece of fruit ( possibly an orange) that could easily pass for color as a lemon. We will say the room was clean and comfortable. There was no one at the front desk to check out at 10 AM. Ten minutes later we located another employee who hunted down someone to check us out. This person was unapologetic and seemed annoyed that we bothered her.

The booking in was fast and pleasant, I love the ground floor, I smiled when the receptionist said I'm sorry but only the ground floor is ready, Mind you I got there 40 minutes before my check-in time. They are text-savvy, the rooms are clean, and complimentary breakfast. Don't go there thinking you are in a 5-star hotel. For me overall it is a great place to stay.

"Unpleasant experience at Hampton Inn Bowie, MD"

Arodotaj Naturale Tresses LLC 1/5 7 hours ago on Google I am writing to express my concern regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your establishment on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM. During that time, I attempted to submit a registration form, but there was no one available at the front desk to assist me. As the form contained sensitive information, I did not feel comfortable leaving it unattended on the counter. After waiting approximately 10–15 minutes, I saw an individual exit the back area. When I inquired whether he worked at the front desk, his response came across as dismissive and delivered with an unwelcoming tone. I asked again, as I hadn’t heard him clearly the first time, and he responded with, “May I help you with something?” I expressed that I was there to drop off my form and asked if there was a reason for his attitude. He then abruptly ended the interaction by saying, “Have a good night.” Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and poor customer service I received left a negative impression. I believe interactions like this can be damaging to a business’s reputation, and as a result, I will not be returning. I hope it serves as an opportunity for improvement.

I highly recommend the Hampton Inn, Bowie, MD. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, friendly staff and excellent food. But, I was most impressed with the comfort of the bed in my room. It was so soft and comfortable. The buffet breakfast in the morning was very good.
