This store is like visiting the store in the TV series Little House on the Prairie. Some items go back further than that. You will see the early century bicycles with the huge back wheel and small front wheel. Also, old medicines, canned food, old sewing machines and an old washing machine that was pulled by a small animal. It ran the clothes through the old ringers as the animals walked around. You see farm equipment and supplies as well as hand made shoes and clothing. Great little place to visit and hear the stories behind the items. The medicine stories were wild! I recommend this attraction.

Such stuff from the 1900’s! From children’s medicines to horse harnesses, to washing machines, to ...well just go there and enjoy. There was also a fun distraction for the children during the tour. I found it just as fun myself.

The oldest store in US museum gave me a memory I won’t forget. The tour guides were role playing store owners from the 19th century. They had real items from back then and a huge collection of 19th century items which is can-touch experience as most of them are in amazing condition. Amazing demo and no glass walls or anything. Puts every other museum tour to shame! Just Amazing
