Defy gravity as you soar on a powerful cushion of air inside a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel. iFLY Portland uses superior technology and multiple turbines at the top of the flight chamber to recirculate air through the flight chamber, producing powerful and stable wall-to-wall airflow that is smooth and fun to fly in.

Located about 15 minutes southwest of Downtown Portland, iFLY’s expert staff provide a safe and exhilarating experience for all. And the tunnel’s glass chamber provides the perfect opportunity for family and friends to enjoy the views as you learn to fly. The air flow is totally controllable. This, combined with professional instructors, makes for the most exciting flight experience possible.

Before your adventure inside flight chamber, you’ll learn the fundamental skills for bodyflight through a classroom training session guided by professional instructors, who will be there to guide you throughout your flight experience. All gear, including a flight suit, helmet and goggles, are provided. The entire experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes two one-minute flights per person, which is more than double the freefall portion in outdoor skydiving that lasts 45 to 60 seconds.

Is there a weight restriction?

Yes, for the safe experience of customers and instructors alike, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers weighing 260–300lbs—subject to additional evaluation by the local staff. Please note that iFLY will not be able to accommodate those exceeding 300lbs.
