How long are the flights at iFLY Dallas?

Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. When jumping from an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approximately 45 seconds. Your admission includes two (2) flights. The entire experience lasts 1.5 hours from start to finish.

What is iFLY Dallas?

The iFLY Dallas is an indoor skydiving facility for kids, teens, and adults. Regardless of flight experience, first-time flyers and seasoned pros enjoy the thrilling experience of flying inside a wind tunnel column.

What should I wear?

Flight suits will be worn over your clothes, so casual non-restrictive clothing (preferably pants and a shirt without a collar) should be worn, along with well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes. Flyers with long hair should secure it back braided or in a low bun to fit the helmet.

Where is iFLY Dallas?

iFLY Dallas is located about 30 minutes north of Downtown Dallas next to the Stonebriar Centre shopping mall at 8380 State Highway 121, Frisco, TX 75034.

How similar is it to the real thing?

The iFLY indoor skydiving facilities recreate the freefall portion of a skydive with its recirculating wind flow, similar to skydiving flight experiences. Skydivers worldwide use wind tunnels as training facilities because of their similarity to the real thing.

Is it safe?

Yes, the iFLY vertical wind tunnel uses superior technology to produce smooth wall-to-wall airflow that is safe to fly in. Certified flight instructors will also ensure safe and enjoyable flight sessions—your instructor will be with you throughout your flight, regardless of your experience level.

Is there a weight restriction?

Yes, individuals who weigh over 300lbs will not be able to fly. Flyers weighing between 260–300lbs require additional evaluation by an iFLY staff member upon check-in to determine if they can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions apply.

How tall do I need to be to fly?

There are no height restrictions.

What is the age requirement?

You must be at least three (3) years or older. Participants under 18 years of age need to have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.

Are there any health restrictions?

Yes, flying is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, head, neck, back, or shoulder injury, or have a heart condition or any other condition that may impede their ability to take part in physical activity or increase the risk of injury.

Can I wear my glasses?

Yes, iFLY has larger goggles that can fit over eyeglasses.
