My son had made a booking for some of the attractions within Chocolate World, and we were able to add one ad hoc, which limited waiting time. All good, clean chocolatey fun, and informative about the establishment of the Hershey 'empire'.

A Bus trip to Chocolate World - we had a 2.5 hour ride - the best part was the historical Trolly Ride!! You are driven all over town, given samples of free chocolate and can ask questions at the end. Guide and driver were the best!! Very informative. The Sweet Lights drive through holiday lights were my next favorite!! Beautiful and plentiful lights were enjoyed by our bus. The only complaint was the lunch!! We had vouchers for lunch - and only one place took them. 40 of us seniors on line for an hour for terrible food. Two people with our group had mobility issues and just really thought in line for an Hour was totally excessive. The service people were always nice and kind there at the food booth. I would recommend having lunch in your car!!! I would never eat there again. They said they had a lot of buses however it was only our bus in line. Management was the problem, not the workers.

As others have pointed out, it is pricey, but with a little research and planning there are ways to maximize the experience, and it makes for a lot of family fun! We bought the Adventure 2 Bundle for our family of 5 and decided to spend a full day at Hershey Chocolate World. We scheduled the paid activities (Unwrapped, Great candy Expedition, Trolley ride and Create Your Own Candy Bar) with at least 1h30 in between, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. This worked out really well for us as it left time to do other things in between, such as the free chocolate tour, Reese's Stuff Your Cup, a visit to the Hershey characters, lunch and souvenir shopping. The only thing I would do differently is schedule Unwrapped, the activity where you eat the most candy, after lunch as opposed to, in our case, first thing at 9am. The activities are well done, different from each other and engaging for both adults and kids. We all really enjoyed getting to produce our own candy bar. The kids really liked Unwrapped, which is funny, instructive and very well acted. The adults appreciated the Historical Trolley Tour, which was nice and instructive with a great tour guide (and provided for a nice nap opportunity for our littlest one :)). The Great Candy Expedition movie theater is quite impressive. The free chocolate tour is nice as well -- go early in the morning and there is a long line later on. The lunch options at the food court are very decent. And of course, don't leave without getting your giant Reese's stuff your own cup -- delicious :) Well done Hershey! We loved our day at Chocolate World!

Many choices: shopping, a free ride that explains the chocolate making process (kid friendly), other activities for every age/various price points, and a food court with multiple options. I would suggest sharing ice creams and shakes, as we threw away quite a bit.

We went on a trip to Amish Country and decided to take a day trip to Hershey. I have always been a chocolate fan but was renewed to a new level. The inside was inviting with engaging exhibits and tours. I even made a bar of my own. Great deals of candy. People were very nice and inviting. We all had a great time.
