Gatlinburg Town Square in Gatlinburg, TN

We reserved this location through RCI as HGVC members. It was one of the few available for the time frame we were looking for, and I know why now. The check in is at a different location down the road that appears to be a motel under the same name. The location looks nothing like the pictures. It is in the process, or appears to be in the process of being updated in some areas. The fountain area off the building is down and being updated I think. The elevator is so slow, you wonder most times if it will even work while you are entering it. We did not use the pool area or fire pit while there. The parking is very tight in the garage, but there were many spaces available the first few days, until the weekend. I am thankful for the garage area and parking in general. Because it is at a minimum, or non existent in most places in Gatlinburg unless you pay premium for it. The noise level at our room was horrible. We were on the first level, just around a corner from a hall, in a 2 bedroom unit. The larger size room, kitchen and living area were nice ans quiet with a balcony off the back. The smaller one bedroom side was very noisy. Both due to the traffic and staff at all times of night and early morning, and the daily dumpster pick up at the hotel next door at 4 to 5 am everyday. Our door area faced the dumpster and parking area for the adjacent hotel. As a light sleeper this was horrible to deal with every morning. The place is slightly dated, but our room was very clean and stocked with what was needed. Overall it is a step up from a motel type place. Not what I am used to from my timeshare resorts at all. But accommodating. We did enjoy our time in Gatlinburg. The location is not too far off the main drag, if you can walk for a bit and are able to handle the elevation and incline.

Stayed in a studio room in the town square complex. Underground parking with lift access to all levels. Comfortable room with a sofa for relaxing. Basic bathroom but plenty of hot water in shower. Good facilities within the complex. Easy walk to Gatlinburg strip. Only 1 coffee sachet for a 3 day stay. Check in was in the block on the other side of the street.

Super clean and non crowded resort. Fun for a quiet family getaway. Pools, giant checkers, indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Close walk to Gatlinburg main strip.

great place to own or stay but not if you travel with your pets. They are not welcome even with a security deposit.

The condo was fine, just a few things, the paper towels are 1 ply, and are hard to tear apart. The toilet paper is also 1 ply and not very easy to wipe with. The stove only opened part way, due to the refrigerator. The dishes need to be updated as do the cookware. The ice machine didn’t work. There were not enough towels or wash rags for our stay. The hairdryer was so old, but it did work. Bed comfortable, having own space good. Just needs update on the things mentioned.
