Gatlinburg Town Square in Gatlinburg, TN

This place had mold on the ceiling, broken locks, doors, drawers. I will never return, it is A total dump!

Our vacation already had a rocky start when we checked in they had us in the wrong room. We booked a king room and they had us in a queen which wouldn’t have been a problem had we not needed the extra room. On top of that the elevator didn’t work and the room definitely was not even cleaned. The furniture had burn holes and the fold out bed had food crumbs all in it. We finally got into a bigger room and thought everything was great from then on. We stayed for a whole week and kept getting bad bug bites. With us not being from around here (and maybe not wanting to think the worst) we just assumed it was mosquito bites. The morning we woke up to leave I just happened to look over at my sleeping one year old and saw a bug crawling on the blanket covering him. Turned on my flash light and to my surprise it was a bed bug. If I could add pictures to this review I would. We had family staying in a neighboring resort and we swam there so I can’t say anything about the pool but up until this morning we were pretty impressed with the resort. Lesson learned - be more cautious when staying in a hotel/resort.

Location was easy access to walking downtown. Resort needs a lot of updating. Rooms were okay but could use updates and a good cleaning. Common areas need to be cleaned. It was and average resort but could use some work.

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were well kept as always. The pools and jacuzzi were clean and nice!

If you are looking for a "resort", this is not it. It is outdated, dirty, run down and falling apart. Rugs were frayed and coming up, elevator from parking was very dirty and smelled- possibly a hazard. Pools concrete falling apart and water in need of shocking. Missing bulbs in room, people left garbage outside of rooms and animals tore it apart. What you think is a pool in pics is NOT- in fact it was torn apart and being concreted when we were there- it is just a big water feature. I expected more as a time share owner who has visited the Orlando Exploria- very disappointed all around. This could be a great place if redone and money was put into it, there is plenty of room for a small outdoor bar/snack shop/ seating with umbrellas, and if they made the water feature an actual pool but "as is" it is disappointing. Do book here- there are many other places that looked nicer on the street. Good location, and underground parking.
