This is a wonderful resort .The rooms are very nice ,the beds are comfortable and the friendly staff was ready to help in any way .It is in a convenient location .

Overall a very good experience . Not at all like some of the reviews I read . Great location. Ten minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg and all the attractions. Parking on site which was great as didn’t need to pay for parking in the town. Parking spaces are tight. We had a two bed unit on the second floor . Yes it is older, rustic property but our room was not like some of the reviews, it was clean and comfortable, very quiet and overlooked the water feature which is now fully working . Nice fire pit area, also an area to sit at the other side of the condo . Only negative was there are bears that wander into the resort and they tell you this on check in. We thought they were joking but on day 2 we watched a bear down where the water feature and fire pit is . They say they do go occasionally up the stairways and onto the open walkways . This just made me nervous whenever we were entering or leaving our room but I am just extra paranoid about bears!

Our room floor was disgusting and on top of that THEY LET STRANGERS INTO OUR ROOM. LITERALLY LET STRANGERS INTO OUR ROOM, NO KNOCK, NOTHING. All because they got the “room mixed up”, I COULD CARE LESS! You put my family at risk! Didn’t even offer a separate room! We checked out the night of this is absolutely unacceptable and UNSAFE!

"Terrible! So Moldy!"

I thought I had done comprehensive research to find a nice clean place. When we showed up, the room we were given looked nothing like the photos! This room was old and rundown. The overwhelming smell of mold and mildew was absolutely nauseating. I searched all over for bugs, especially bed bugs, and aside from a lone house spider in the sink, I didn’t find any - if I had, that would have been the deal breaker and the lack of bugs is the only reason I’m giving it two stars. Thankfully, we showed up late and were leaving super early in the am but if we were planning to stay any longer I would have switched hotels. The wallpaper in the bathroom was covered in mold. All those green/brown splotchy things all over the wall? Mold. I stayed out as late as I could in the restaurant next door, just so I didn’t have to be in the room smelling how moldy it was. Stay away!

This resort was perfect great location to the parkway and a trolley stop at our front door. The unit and grounds were very clean and all the employees were polite and happy to help. The check in was so easy and no forced sells talk just a lot of helpful information. The Gatlinburg area never disappoints. We did a day trip to Townsend for the Hot Air Balloon Festival and had a blast.
