With over 80,000 gallons of water-based fun, the resort’s dual waterparks—Braxton Beaver’s Shipwreck Bay and Cascades Outdoor Waterpark—offer thrills for all ages. From high-speed slides to zero-entry splash zones, kids and adults alike can enjoy hours of adventure just steps from their room.

The property offers family-friendly amenities. The River Tower features themed cabin and treehouse-style suites complete with bunk beds and scavenger hunts, creating an immersive experience kids will love. Daily scheduled activities like crafts, cookie decorating, and poolside games keep everyone engaged beyond the water.

When it’s time to refuel, enjoy a hearty breakfast at Granny Clucket’s or grab a slice at Nonnaroni’s Pizza. Sweet treats from Candi’s Kitchen and other snack stations are perfect for mid-day cravings. Additional resort perks include a VR arcade, laser maze, bowling lanes, and a fitness center.

Good to Know Before You Go
  • Per resort policies, the resort cannot rent a non-handicap room when a handicap room is required or requested.
  • Waterslides: The minimum height required to use the slides is 42 inches. The maximum weight to use the slides is 250 pounds.
  • The reservation holder must be at least 18 years of age to check in, with a matching, valid, government-issued photo ID.
  • The resort allows only 1 car per reservation.
  • Granny's Clucket's Breakfast offers a family-style breakfast at a per-person cost.
  • Exciting enhancements have recently been implemented at Country Cascades Waterpark Resort, representing the most significant investment since its grand opening. The Country Tower has reopened, featuring an array of new amenities such as Beary Bears Galactic Galaxy, ReFuel, Candi's Candy Kitchen, The Friendship Forest Activity Center, and Outpost. In addition, Granny Clucket's Breakfast, Scoops Ice Cream, and Nonnaroni's Pizza Shop are open for your enjoyment. Furthermore, Beary Bears Galactic Bowland, an expanded version of the Snack Shack with an extensive menu, has reopened. Lastly, the River Tower, complete with themed Treehouse and Cabin Suites, is now available for bookings.(Note: the waterpark is open mid-March through September.)
  • Resort Policies:
      Modification Policy – In order for a reservation to be modified it must be recalculated to current rates and promotions. A reservation cannot be modified once the reservation has been checked-in.
      Early Departure Policy – Whenever a guest creates an “under stay” they forfeit one night as an early departure fee.
      Late Check-Out Policy – Guests who do not check-out by the established check-out time will incur a $50 per hour late check-out fee. Guests that do not check-out by Noon will be charged an additional night at the current rate.
      Early Check-In – Check-in Prior to 4PM is $50 and is not guaranteed, a limited number of guaranteed noon check-ins may be available at a cost of $150. Guests may pre-register and begin using the amenities at noon on the day of arrival without an early check-in at no additional costs and return to the front desk after 4 PM to complete check-in. Please note all members of your party will need to return to the lobby at the same time during the check-in process to get activate their wristbands if you do a pre-registration for amenity use.
      Cashless (M-6) – Country Cascades will no longer accept cash as a method of payment.
      Room Amenities – Coffee makers, microwaves, and in-room phones will no longer be available in Country Tower & Summit Tower.

The beds are not the most comfortable and it seemed like they were small for queen size. The water pressure could be a lot better for a resort. There could be a breezeway between buildings. The pool wasn't heated. So everyone was in the eight person hot tub. And the luggage carts need maintenance, the wheels were locked up. The view was nice and breakfast was amazing. I just don't think we'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Country Cascade as usual. The rooms were clean but housekeeping staff was alittle lacking this go around since they were short staff but guest should never that affect. After being there since Monday, then on Thursday management fixed issues. I hated to complain but we've stayed here since they first opened on a referral and loved the friendly people, service and beautiful Summit Tower.
On our last night, being a pet free hotel and I'm allergic to dogs/cats a couple walked out door we were going in with a big white furry dog that wasn't a service dog. Smh... These pet lovers need to learn to obey rules. We will definitely stay again and recommend even though we had some hiccups his go around.

We had an excellent stay at Country Cascades hotel and waterpark. The kids loved the water slide and splash pad. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Full breakfast with dining area was neat, clean, and the food was great. The staff was friendly and always accommodating. We will definitely stay again and recommend.

The room two levels bedrooms upstairs with lower living room and bathroom. Every room had their own air conditioning, super clean . Stayed five nights with no complaints, hot breakfast everyday scrambled egg, sausage, you make your own waffles, fruit, bagels, breads. Can't wait for next year to comeback to start booking my return.

Tip: They are having construction outside of the building, they are adding an out door water slide for children, we saw the photos of it when completed in 2017 looks awesome.
