Frequently Asked Questions about Fury Key West Snorkeling Tours

Where will I be snorkeling?

The Captain will choose the best reef destination for snorkeling based on the marine conditions of the day. There are several possible reef locations you may visit: Sand Key, Rock Key, Eastern Dry Rocks, and Western Sambo, just to name a few.

Does the instructor provide instructions?

The experienced and CPR-certified Fury crew will give you detailed instructions as you sail out to the Living Coral Reef. They will go over the best practices and safe snorkel procedures for your day at the reef.

What equipment is provided?

Fury Adventure will provide you with a mask, snorkel, buoyancy compensator, and fins for snorkeling. You are more than welcome to bring your own gear if you wish.

Are wetsuits provided?

How long is the boat ride to the reef?

The total snorkel trip time is 3 hours. Guests will enjoy about an hour to the sun and relax as we sail out to the reef, approximately an hour of reef snorkeling, and about another hour sail back to Key West.

Is there shade on the boat?

Yes, but the space is limited in the shaded areas.

Is there easy access from the boat to the ocean?
