This hotel looks cute, but the walls are paper thin and it is very noisy, this is coming from someone who can sleep through fire alarms.. the bathrooms are very old with dirty tubs. I was here for 3 days, two of which the pool was closed until 1:30pm. The third day, I was here and was able to enjoy the pool until a camera crew came in and the employees were blowing conches from the top of the stairs for 30 minutes.. it was loud, the camera crew was bumping into my chair, and I was clearly in the way but no one communicated anything. I would upload a video of the obnoxious conch blowing if I could.. this is unacceptable for the price of this hotel.

"Worst “luxury” hotel experience - EVER."

I booked this trip for my husband’s birthday. We’ve been to KW several times. But this time, I really splurged on the accommodations due to all the listed amenities at this “newly renovated” hotel. We booked the corner suite on the 7th floor which was the most expensive nightly room I’ve ever experienced. But unfortunately, it was an epic disappointment for both of us. At a price of over $1200.00 a night, we really thought we would be wowed. The room was small, that wasn’t an issue. The room was supposed to come with majestic views of the island and water, but instead it was obstructed with heavy machinery - as the hotel was still under construction and this was failed to be mentioned AT ALL. We weren’t even allowed to go out on our balcony - and this is the only reason I booked this room. It was sold as having a “very large outdoor living space” with high end outdoor furniture, etc. We were unable to use this space, as there were holes in the deck flooring and large scaffolding equipment that occupied the entire space. There was a hole in the interior room ceiling. Our refrigerator did not work. The towel warmer did not work. The shower drain did not properly work, so water flowed all the way into the bedroom area - no door to the bathroom. There was no switch to turn off the bathroom light (around mirror) so you had to attempt to sleep with light on each night - that was terrible for my husband who needs it DARK to sleep. There was no floor length mirror (for the girls who need to see their outfit.) The coffee shop was closed. The restaurant was closed. The spa was closed. The pool and deck were closed. Literally, no amenities were available to us. We expressed concern and disappointments with the personal “concierge” service that was supposed to accompany our stay, but nothing worthwhile was offered to us. Our stay was awful. The room should never have been sold in the condition it was. Technically, it was a safety hazard at a premium cost to us. Bad, bad, bad experience for a longtime Bonvoy member and Marriott hotel lover. Do not recommend. 0/10.

Great stay at LaConcha Key West. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and the gentleman at front desk(sorry, don’t remember his name,) sent her a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Such a thoughtful gesture. Spent a couple nights at your beautiful bar and met 2 great bartenders, Yara and Jovana. Both were incredible and created amazing cocktails. We saw Jovana our second day at the pool bar and she remembered us from the night before, which makes you feel special! While the room may have been a little dated, it was clean and our housekeeper did a great job. Overall, a great stay and we would return. Thank you for a great stay!

"Poor management, Party hotel, very loud, not recommended for business not recommended for couples"

McKinley Neura (if that's his real name, doubt it) is a terrible manager. Me and my girlfriend drove all the way from Miami, we got to the hotel we checked in the moment we got to our hotel room it reeked of marijuana. This hotel is very loud and is definitely a party hotel. There was noise throughout the night, and overall you just see a bunch of college students and teenagers running around. More importantly, this manager is horrific. When we told him we wanted to change our room because of the marijuana smell he simply told us he can't do anything about it. He did not try to change our room or anything. His demeanor is very corporate, it's not very friendly. It's not polite and it's not courteous. The Cafe station and water station was a complete mess with no coffee. I would definitely not stay at this place again, it's overrated and expensive, more importantly, the manager simply does not care.

The La Concha Hotel took me by surprise! They were doing some upgrades to the outdoor pool deck while we were there, but the hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were amazing! Breakfast was out of this world and last but not least Gary and Jovana were the highlight of this trip! They were the absolute BEST bartenders and had great conversations with Gary. If I come back to Key West I’ll be sure to stay here again!
