January 2nd 3:20pm - the sun is toasty the pool is hopping and General Manager Paul Pruitt announces the the pool is closed for a “private event”. Apparently a notice was slipped under the hotel room door about an hour ago. Terrible customer service

We traveled with a group of folks key hopping as part of the Nowcat, "Herding Cats in The Keys" tour. The Hemmingway Suite at La Concha Key West was our sandbox for a few nights. It was a big room and the staff lead by Jennifer Robino made sure we were well looked after. The remodeled hotel was a great location for shopping and walking distance to most things in Key West. Nice pool area with bar, excellent elite breakfast, and grand first floor bar made for a comfy stay. Onsite parking was great and the bikes were fun. We will be back in 2026. Nowcat approved!

This is a fantastic historical property that is well maintained. The 7th floor rooms are newly renovated and have incredible views and charm. The staff is outstanding and their extra effort was appreciated. The common space is large and inviting. The restaurant is very good. This was a pleasure to enjoy!
