This Key West Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott offers a large outdoor pool with poolside cabanas, a daily complimentary hot breakfast, and free WiFi.

Guests will be five minutes' drive from historic Old Town Key West and two miles from Duval Street. A flat-screen cable TV, microwave, and small refrigerator are featured in all rooms. Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Key West rooms are decorated in vibrant colors and include coffee-making facilities. Select rooms have private balconies. Guests can relax on the large sun terrace beside the pool or use cardio equipment and free-weights in the fitness center. A concierge service as well as on-site scooter and bicycle hire are offered as well. The poolside tiki bar offers frozen drinks, cocktails, and light snacks.

Smathers Beach is within two miles from the property. Guests will also be two miles from Key West Airport and Fort Zachary Taylor State Park.

The best way to say it is…this property is not what I expect a Marriott property to be. Good things: Check in and people in the office were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and had quite a few choices, wonderful shuttle to Old Town (although very hot one night), and Ed at the bar was super friendly. Things that could use some work: Our king room was so tiny, the floors didn’t look very clean especially in the corners of the bathroom. Our whole room could have used a makeover including the large furniture piece below the tv. There is a hole in the back and stuff will fall through…good luck trying to get it out and it’s very dirty back there. We were in a hallway facing the parking lot, it was dirty in the hallway floors and in the stair well. There is a beautiful pool, but it’s quite cold to swim in.

The place was very clean. Front desk was very nice . I asked for box of tissues and it came immediately. Just didn’t like that I did not know there was a resort fee until I arrived. Booking on Marriott’s site did not anywhere mention there was a resort fee until I checked in. Then it was too late because you can’t cancel. I feel like that fee needs to be disclosed online. There is a big sign in the lobby about it. The fee does cover free shuttle to downtown , 2 free non -alcoholic beverages from the refrigerator and breakfast with parking. The fee is worth it because of all you get. But still why do you learn about this only upon arrival ? Also one problem was that the woman at check in told us the shuttle is on the hour. I only learned about how you have to make a reservation when I went further into the reviews. I was checking to see if anyone else wrote about the surprise resort fee. That’s when I found out you need a reservation for the shuttle. We were never told at check in. They had little cute popcorn bags in the lobby at night. The next night there was also champagne with the popcorn bags. The breakfast is always great to be included because you don’t need to go out. The second day we went to breakfast at 8 am and the bacon tray was empty. We thought that was strange. It was never refilled the entire 30 minutes we were there. Overall we were still very happy. We went to celebrate our 30 th anniversary.

When I arrived at the service desk Juan and Nathalia greeted me. They were so helpful and had very great customer service helping us out with different things. I would like to thank them and also Albert who helped me out at check out. I cannot wait to go back .

Old and outdated! No wash clothes, only hand towels to wash small frame body… Not really clean with bedding dirty! Bed is hard as a brick! Concierge polite! I stay in many Marriott properties all having at least basic decent curb appeal! This location disappointing!
