My family and I enjoyed the chance to be out in nature, to see the waterfalls, and to see some of wildlife on the property. We would highly recommend the tram ride to see the animal pastures and to get a feel for how large the property is and what it has to offer.

Wish I would have brought my fly rod. The weather was extremely hot and there needed to be more options to get liquids in people. It was a nice hike, but that's about it.

"Dogwood Canyon Tram Ride"

Our family which included grandkids had the pleasure of taking a tram ride today through Dogwood Canyon. We had the 8:30 slot and the temperatures were not hot this early so it was perfect. Our guide and driver was Debee. She was delightful to say the least with so much enthusiasm and knowledge. She was willing to help with photos and entertained the tour with wonderful stories. She even knew the Elk and Bison's names! Dogwood Canyon is spectacular! From stunning waterfalls to amazing trout ponds it is a destination that is a must if you are traveling to the Branson area!!!

"Dogwood Canyon: A Peaceful Ozark Escape Worth Every Penny"

Dogwood Canyon is a breathtaking, unspoiled oasis nestled in the Ozarks—a must-see destination for nature lovers and families alike. 🌿🍃🌳 The atmosphere is serene, scenic, and incredibly relaxing, making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Branson or the lake. Don’t miss the tram tour! While the combined cost of admission and tram tickets may seem steep, the experience is absolutely worth it. The 2-hour guided ride includes several stops for quick photo ops at waterfalls, a charming chapel ⛪️, and up-close views of bison, elk, and longhorns. 🦬 My kids (ages 10 and 13) had a blast! Other families with elementary-aged children seemed to enjoy it too, though I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers—two little ones on our tour struggled to sit still and became quite fussy (screaming). The tram is also the only way to see the animals, as the walking and biking trails don’t pass through the wildlife pastures. If you're visiting in the summer, opt for the morning ride—our 9:30–11:30 a.m. tour was pleasantly breezy, even with temps in the mid-90s. Later in the day, the limestone canyon retains heat and can get uncomfortably hot. Other ways to explore the canyon: • Hike the scenic trails 🥾 • Rent bikes 🚴🏼‍♀️ or book a horseback ride 🐴 • Bring your dog 🦮 —they’re welcome! • Try your hand at fishing in one of the many ponds 🎣 • Let the kids explore the beautiful treehouse built by the Treehouse Master Pete Nelson Dining & Amenities: The on-site restaurant offers delicious options for a quick bite or a full lunch. From trout dip and bison tacos to hearty sandwiches and burgers, there’s something for everyone—and it’s all tasty! Bonus: Parking is FREE.

Definitely take the tram tour. This is the only way you can see the elk and bison. Our guide Rick was wonderful. He is also one of the fishing guides. It was very interesting listening to him about the fish. We were fortunate to get up close to the Elk and bison. If you do not take the tram, I would suggest riding bikes. I would not suggest walking unless you are in good shape. The cost is a little high, but we enjoy our time there.
