Purchased tickets through tripster. It made things so easy. Just went to office with e-tickets and was immediately handed my tickets for show. Couldn't have had better seats. Right up front close to stage. Would highly recommend using tripster. Definitely will use again. Thoroughly enjoyed the show and food.

"The hight of our anniversary"
August 2019
We were celebrating our 48th anniversary and wanted something off the strip; the Showboat was a perfect choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the MC was fun and engaging, and the entertainers were very professional. We hardly recognized when we left the dock or returned, so the seamanship of the crew was spot on. We always felt safe and secure. It was a great pleasure to experience such a magnificent event from being welcomed onboard to meeting the captain as we disembarked. Well done, everyone!

Pd $65 ea for 4pm -6pm dinner, cruise, show, which was well worth it. We were on 3rd tier & seating was very good. We had very good service. Entertainment was mostly very good. Our dinner was a small decent salad, roll, green beans, mashed potatoes, 2 slices of roast beef, & 2 roasted chicken thighs, soft drink & s lemon tart. All were decent...not great...but decent, & plenty to eat (too much🙂). The vip was a more pricey choice of $25 more which included prime rib or trout & a couple other choices which I cant remember. Otherwise, the same. The scenery was ok but wish the boat would have had more open viewing or open viewing from our seating areas. Also, wish the music was piped outside. We didn’t get to see too much outside on the water or we would have missed dinner & entertainment, which was all inside.

My family of 4 really enjoyed the cruise meal and show. Seems to be a good value as shows in Branson are $30 to $50 and this one includes a nice meal and cruise on the lake. After seeing the Captains tables beside us getting steaks and huge chocolate cake we kind of wished we’d tried that more expensive option but the roast beef was really tender and the chicken was good. I don’t know anywhere else you can see great entertainment that also includes spiritual and patriotic numbers. The movie montage of songs was really entertaining and there were lots of laughs at the comedian. Everything was very timely and ran well. Highly recommend.

"4 p.m. Early Dinner Cruise - 2020 Edition"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed September 06, 2020 NEW
My wife and I were able to take the 4 p.m. early dinner cruise this past Thursday. We arrived about 30 minutes before departure and were able to board with little to no wait. Masks are required while walking around and when not eating, as is the case with most everything these days. The dining area was set up in light of social distancing, which meant that there was plenty of space between us and our fellow diners and everyone is seated by party, regardless of size. This particular sailing filled just the main floor, with the sides and balcony of the theater remaining basically empty. I found it nice to have plenty of space and to not have to eat with strangers. The meal service begins right away, almost as soon as you arrive at your table. Drink orders are taken, and shortly thereafter salad and rolls are brought to you. The departure was very smooth; in fact, I did not notice that the ship was moving until we had already been under way for several minutes. The emcee did a very good job of pulling us into the program. Sometime after departure, the main course is served. We had the general admission dinner. I had been told that the food was somewhat lacking, but on our cruise it was all right. The roast beef was exceptionally tender, given that it was prepared to well done. The chicken thighs did not seem to be rotisserie-roasted, but were tender and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes and green beans were well prepared. Overall, the meal was similar to what one might get at a banquet hall and was perfectly acceptable. The gratuity is not included in your fare. I did not know about this until the moment it was announced by the emcee. You are given the opportunity to leave a tip after everyone has finished eating the main course, just before being dismissed to explore the ship. While I was happy to leave a tip for our server, I would have preferred to have the gratuity built into the fare and to have known ahead of time. Following about 45 minutes of free time to explore the vessel, we were called back for dessert, coffee (if desired), and the show. I wish we had more time to just sail around; that 45 minutes went by fast. The gooey butter cake was a bit grainy, but that may have been because it was chilled. I have typically eaten this dessert at room temperature. The performance by the singers, dancers, and band were good. The set of movie songs really showed off the talent and professionalism of the performers. I always enjoy the hymn and the patriotic set at the end of most shows in Branson. I hope they never get rid of it, these reminders of faith, love of country, and appreciation of our veterans, even when we're having a good time. The meal, show, and experience made for a very nice date.

"need to step up on dining and entertainment"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed September 03, 2020 NEW
First and foremost, please introduce quality food at the dining segment - beans is not fully cooked. Please offer vegetarian choices like veggie burger or even grilled cheese sandwiches with the potatoes and good veggies and salad. Entertainment - was too loud; comedy piece was very pathetic; tipping seems forced and overall true showboat cruising experience can be much more enhanced. Great service, prompt to time
