Think you can brave the driest, hottest climate around and experience unimaginable sights? The Death Valley Tour includes stops at the Ghost Town of Rhyolite, Hell’s Gate, Badwater, the Devil’s Golf Course, Salt Lake, and more. Guests enjoy views of never-ending deserts, incredible animal life, and geological wonders, all in the course of a single day. Ready for an extraordinary exploration?

from Death Valley Tour
Standing at the entrance to Death Valley and our first exploration- photo stop on this amazing adventure is the old Ghost Town of Rhyolite, a long abandoned gold mining community and the set for many movies and documentaries. We then drive down a beautiful winding highway and enter the center of Death Valley from the east; this is like landing on Mars, you enter a foreign and strange world of endless desert, vast valleys, harshly sculpted peaks, garish colors, superbly adapted plants and animals - all are visible expressions of geologic time reckoned in millions of years.

The driest, hottest climate imaginable - this is Death Valley; an immense, wild land that man has never tamed. Capture the view of the valley from Hell’s Gate, well above the valley floor and then we visit Badwater at 282 ft. below sea level. We also enjoy views and stops at Zabriskie’s Point, the Devil’s Golf Course, the Furnace Creek Museum, the Salt Lake, the Sand Dunes and Artists Pallet. The majestic mountains, colorful canyons, volcanic craters and salt pinnacles all make this trip a photographic-sightseers dream come true.

For the truly adventurous, we not only offer this tour in spring, fall and winter but for the hardiest of adventurer’s, also throughout the summer months.

Complimentary pick up and return to all Las Vegas strip and downtown hotels.

"Small Group Hollywood and Los Angeles Tour"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We had a great time with Adventure Photo Tours. Our guides Bob and Clayton were excellent and made the 4 hour ride to LA and back a pleasure. We were driven in a nice Mercedes Benz vehicle (about 12 people) through the Mojave Desert. First stop was the Santa Monica Pier and then on to LA and Hollywood to see the Hollywood sign, walk of fame, Chinese theater, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive. The tour included a nice continental breakfast, boxed lunch and snacks and bottled water. Pick up and drop off is at your hotel of choice. It's a wonderful full day and a nice chance to see the California sites for a reasonable price.

"Nature and Nurture"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed May 05, 2019 NEW
Nature was absolutely awesome. 100% !!! The tour guide nurtured and did a good job of feeding interesting information to my wife, two other guests that we met on the trip and I. However I can not understand why four (4) adult patrons had to travel in a SUV that left two passengers cramped and contorted in the rear seat for an all day trip. It’s obvious that APT sacrificed it’s customers comfort to maximize profit margins and reduce costs. Will I use APT again yes, do I recommend APT yes however please be an informed tourist and ask upfront for the vehicle comfort levels before being forced in to a contortion exercise.

"Well worth the time, Amazing "

We booked through and received a discount for booking 2 tours. Grand Canyon National Park VIP tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Bob was the best tour guide we have ever had. He told us interesting stories, excellent driver, gave us plenty of time to explorer. The breakfast (blueberry muffin, nuts, cheese stick) lunch (turkey sandwich, salad, cheese and crackers, celery and carrots, chocolate cookies) snacks and plenty of bottled water and peanut butter crackers. Hoover Dam stop for photos and 3 hours to walk along the Rim trail. Walking up to Mather’s Point and seeing the Grand Canyon was breath taking it was as though someone pulled back the curtains and your eyes couldn’t believe the massiveness of the Canyon that went on for miles and 1,000 feet down. Of course you see fools who are oblivious to the 10 people on average that die each year venturing beyond the path or sitting their children on the walls to take a shot that would be just as a amazing from the path.

We did the 6 in 1 Grand Canyon tour with helicopter and it was absolutely amazing from beginning to the end! Really enjoyed the day! We stopped and took pictures at Joshua Tree forest, Hoover Dam, Hualapai Ranch, Dolan Springs and of coerce -Grand Canyon. Chris Jones is an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable of the area and answering all our questions. During the trip we have learned a lot about American history. We were a great group of four couples. The communication from the company was excellent. Highly recommended trip!

We where with just a very small group of 3, which almost felt like a private tour. Although the long ride to the south Rim, it is all worth it and our tour guide Bob ensured we had a smooth and entertaining ride! We had interesting stops along the historic route 66 and hoover dam. Bob provided a ton of information during the tour which made our time fly, he is truly a walking wikipedia what a legend! A very highly recommended tour if you are interested to see the grand canyon from las vegas.
