Best Western Plus Casino Royale - Center Strip in Las Vegas, NV

What a wonderful surprise. Came to see the show at the Sphere and based on what I researched this place was a 1/2 mile away so I could walk. Nice room, Keurig in the room, hangers that came off the bar, super cozy bed, no view but that was no problem, felt safe, and a small frig. I go on to visit my mom in Summerlin and the place I stay there has none of these things and is more expensive! Highly recommend. Lori at the front desk was also super helpful.

Location, location, location! We chose this hotel for its location and moderate price, and we were not disappointed! From check in to check out, we found the front desk attendants to be friendly and helpful at all times. Anything we requested or needed was handled in a very timely manner. Although somewhat a little dated, our room was clean and had the necessary amenities. Its location is perfect for accessing transportation, food and casinos. Unlike the larger hotels where you have to walk 1/2 mile to get to your room there are only four stories so it's easy to get back to your room to change or if you forgot something. Would highly recommend. We were very happy and will return.

First off I rate hotels/restaurants among their peers. It mens I can give 5 stars to a fast food joint and 3 stars to an expensive restaurant even though the foods taste the same. It is all in the expectation. Best Western Plus is a 3 stars hotel no doubt. But is a 4-1/2 starer among 3-star hotels and I round it up to a 5. I was staying in the area for three nights attending a Sphere event Friday night. I could not justify spending $800 at the Venetian for Friday so I stayed at BWP instead. Now the good, this hotel is at the perfect location and you can walk anywhere up to Wynn and down to Cosmopolitan. The hotel rooms area is literally 20 feet from the casino entrance out to Las Vegas Blvd. To immediate right is a Walgreen which you can buy pretty much anything, Venetian is just down the block. Walking distance to all the fast food joints like Five Guys, In-N-Out, and there is a White Castle in the casino if you never tried their steamed sliders. Wynn Buffet and Bacchanal Buffet are within walking distance. I can’t emphasize how nice it is to be able to walk right out onto the strip without having to walk across an entire casino floor. The hotel has ample parking in the back. The room is comfortable, has Nespresso machine and a mini fridge. and has super speedy wi-fi (didn’t even turn on the TV since I was able to stream everything to my laptop). Is it as every-detail-is-perfect as a Hilton? No. But again it is a mid-class hotel. The not-so-good. The ice machine on the floor did not work. This is the first hotel I stayed in where the ice machine did not work. At least the mini-fridge worked. When I checked out I was told by the front desk the total bill had been emailed to me that morning so I declined to get a paper copy. I never received the bill. I really have no other complaint. Now the extra credit. I left something in the room upon check out, and got a text from the hotel that they found it in the room right after I landed back in NYC. Even though it took them almost a month to finally have it ent back to me, the fact that they proactively contacted me about the left behind item was first class service. That earns the extra half star that lets me round it up to 5. This hotel might not be what you want if you want to impress a date on a Vegas trip. But f you want convenience and practicality it deserves serious consideration.

Thomas was fantastic at the desk. So personable and gave us great info on eating establishments. Great attention and attitude.
