Had a great time. Friendly staff. Lots to do. The hotel room was a little dirty. Plus loud family next to us, yelling kids.

"Stay someone nice like... well anywhere else."

when I stayed here I was diamond and I always wanted to stay here, when I was a child my family drove through Vegas and stayed at some motel 6 type of place. Years later I always saw Caesars as one of those iconic hotels you had to stay at, I found a very reasonably price week and as a Christmas present I stayed there. The diamond checkin was amazing, the staff was truly incredible. As this is a 1 star review that is the only good thing I have to say about this hotel. Doing a little research and you will find that this hotel actually dates back to 1966 and once you navigate the hotel a few times such as self park to check in to hotel tower to self parking back to room you realize that it is a patchwork of poorly thought out separate construction projects. For example to get from the self park to the hotel elevators I was place at there are 3 routes, the shortest route has 2 stair cases, the next and only other route I could find has 1 stair case and there is a third route kind of hidden and much longer which has no stairs. I was harassed by security because my key was in my pocket and both my hands were full of luggage so after I came back down to make a second trip I asked that annoying security person how to get to my room without any stairs and in that minimum wage I have a badge way he explained to me instructions that made no sense, I questioned him and he again in an even more derogatory tone repeated exactly the same thing. I told him that his instructions do not make sense, walk me through it, are you giving me the directions from here or from the self park? He just repeated him and started to talk to someone else. So I attempted to follow his directions with my heavy luggage. Well needless to say his instructions did not make sense and I was once again at stairs which I fell down. An employee walking by me asked are you ok as I am laying flat on my face on the ground, dazed I mumbled I think so and he promptly continued on his way. After I got to the room and saw how injured my toes were I slept it off and the next day and so much pain walking I contacted the amazing person at check in and asked if they could help me out as I had planned on walking 3 hotels over for a buffet each day of my stay (I had 1/2 price coupons) and honor my coupons at their buffet. Their responded No, we cant do that you have to file a report with security. I was degraded by their security and treated like a criminal and assured I would hear back from them within 7-14 days. Well it is well over a year later and I still have not heard back from them despite the fact that I have attempted to contact them by phone and stopped by the check in multiple times. I cant say I am shocked by a large corporation acting like that though I was disappointed that a company who works so hard to sell a dream would not be able to do anything at all to fix a problem like this. It is just quite disappointing. Thankfully Caesars does not have any buffets worth eating at and I will no longer use any of their services again. I will be more than happy to recommend any other non-caesars/el dorado property to anyone who asks my advice on where to stay in vegas.

Checkin: you pay $100 a night deposit and $65 a day resort fee. The fees gives you access to the gym, pool, WiFi and local call. If you don’t use any of those while at the resort oh well. Or look at it as $65 a day for WIFI I stayed in an Augustus Tower Suite. The best thing I can say is that the view of Balagio is very nice. Carpet is very worn to the point it looks dirty. I’m not sure what happened to the furniture but it is severely worm, to the point the bare wood is showing. Coffee is not provided. There is a Keurig machine but you have to pay for the coffee to in it. The top of the mini bar has items on a pressure plate. Don’t touch them or pick them up. You will be charged for picking up any items. Don’t know them over either. You would think suites would come with robes, nope. The check in staff were nice as they politely took the $600 deposit and resort fee. I am a big fan of the resort but this room is definitely substandard for them
