"No bang for the buck. $ saved on location was only half spent getting to anywhere on the strip. Felt CHEAP not a value"

Not impressed, actually disappointed. No hot water day of check out. Value saved was lost twice fold ride sharing to anywhere. The “remodel” felt cheap and already outdated. Bed’s uncomfortable. No microwave. No room service after lunch. Limited restaurants inside. Only one place after 10 to eat at. Disengaged staff.

Hotel was nice although it could use some updating. Penn and Teller show was entertaining, we didn’t get a chance to check out any other shows at the casino. Pricing was very fair and no hidden or extra charges were found. I’d stay there again.

RIO continues to make progress in food and beverage as well as the hotel itself. Video poker tables are great, yet table games have weak odds but with lower limits. Room size is still great, but the non-renovated rooms are showing their age. Pools look good but not open yet.

Overall I had a positive experience at the Rio. The room (renovated, in the Ipenema tower) was spacious with a beautiful Strip view. It was very clean despite what some Vegas influencers 🦖 are posting online. It was very quiet. The bathroom was nice but sadly there was no tub, only a shower. Room service came every day and did a nice job. The casino is fun and has $3 pop craps with 3-4-5 odds, fun slot selection, $3 table craps from 3am - 3pm. The Starbucks takes mobile orders and so no need to wait in the line. The new gift shop was very nice as well. The check-in and check out process was time consuming. The kiosks didn’t work (they never do). Even checking out took forever it seemed just to print out a receipt. Why can’t Vegas figure this out? The food selection was decent. The new steakhouse High Steaks was …. just ok. Certainly there are better options out there. It was nice to be close to the Strip but somewhat apart from all the craziness. I would recommend Rio for a budget conscious traveler who is looking for a clean and comfortable stay.

Renovated room was spacious and clean. WiFi did not work. No cell service in the room. No additional bedding for pullout bed. Only 2 bath towels. When requested additional towels and bedding, it took 3 phone calls and over 4 hour wait. They finally arrived after 2am when requested at 10pm. The 2nd time I called, they had no record of the 1st request. When they did show up they forgot the towels.
