Crowne Plaza Times Square is perfectly located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, between 48th and 49th Streets, just at the doorstep of Times Square. Just beyond the front doors are Fortune 500 companies and the best shopping, theater, and historical attractions in the city. Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the greatest musical theater are mere steps away. Central Park is 10 minutes’ walk away. The hotel is also steps away from the 49th Street underground station.

Crowne Plaza Times Square has over 25,000 square feet of private event space onsite, 28 meeting rooms, and two Ballrooms, including a 6,750 square feet Broadway Ballroom with 20-foot ceilings. Featuring city views, each room at the Crowne Plaza Times Square has a flat-screen cable TV, modern decor, plush bedding, a workspace, upscale bathroom amenities, and WiFi included for the nightly service fee. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, Broadway 49 serving craft cocktails, beer, wine and unique dishes. Grind'n Co Coffee on the first floor has a variety of beverages including Stone Street Coffee, as well as grab-and-go items.

Pet Policy
Pets are welcome. Dogs or cats only weighing 40 lbs. or less are allowed. Pet owners must sign a waiver and pay $75 non-refundable fee. One pet pet room is allowed. Please notify the hotel directly prior to arrival if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

"Disappointing Stay at the Hyatt Times Square"

This was my first trip to New York City, and I selected the Hyatt based on its reputation and strong ratings. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite the reservation indicating early check-in, the room was not ready upon arrival, and the requested extra pillows and towels were not provided. We were “upgraded” to a king corner room for four adults, which was not a suitable accommodation. As a result, we had to book two separate rooms, creating significant inconvenience throughout the stay as we had to move between rooms to share toiletries, hair appliances, and food and beverages. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations and proved to be both inconvenient and unsatisfactory.

"Frustrating Check-In and Lack of Basic Service"

The room was great, very spacious. But I felt blindsided by the mention of a $450 security deposit upon arrival. That’s a significant amount of money to have held and unavailable during a vacation. The front desk was able to reduce it to $150, which I appreciated, but I was still uncomfortable with that policy. Additionally, when I came down to ask for my room keys, I was asked if I wanted to “pay with the card on file.” This was confusing since I had already paid in full and was only requesting keys—it made me feel like I might be charged additional fees unexpectedly. Lastly, I called to request towels, but they were never delivered.

"Beware of the hidden resort fees!"

The hotel is great BUT they have a hidden $45 resort fee, which was presented upon check-in! Honestly, I don't know what that was for -- we only used our room. SCAM! We only stayed for one night so I'm not sure if they "resort" fee was daily or for the entire stay. Check into it before you book this hotel OR stay at another property.

The hotel was very clean and so were are rooms. The decor and room furniture are all up-to-date and trendy. The tv on the wall was huge! The location was perfect for walking in Times Square and for hopping on the subway.
