Crowne Plaza Times Square is perfectly located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, between 48th and 49th Streets, just at the doorstep of Times Square. Just beyond the front doors are Fortune 500 companies and the best shopping, theater, and historical attractions in the city. Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the greatest musical theater are mere steps away. Central Park is 10 minutes’ walk away. The hotel is also steps away from the 49th Street underground station.

Crowne Plaza Times Square has over 25,000 square feet of private event space onsite, 28 meeting rooms, and two Ballrooms, including a 6,750 square feet Broadway Ballroom with 20-foot ceilings. Featuring city views, each room at the Crowne Plaza Times Square has a flat-screen cable TV, modern decor, plush bedding, a workspace, upscale bathroom amenities, and WiFi included for the nightly service fee. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, Broadway 49 serving craft cocktails, beer, wine and unique dishes. Grind'n Co Coffee on the first floor has a variety of beverages including Stone Street Coffee, as well as grab-and-go items.

Pet Policy
Pets are welcome. Dogs or cats only weighing 40 lbs. or less are allowed. Pet owners must sign a waiver and pay $75 non-refundable fee. One pet pet room is allowed. Please notify the hotel directly prior to arrival if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

"Great new option in Times Square"

Nice, sparkling new property in the very best location for seeing shows. Experienced none of the "growing pain" issues mentioned by others. I agree that the service fee tacked on for $45/night is kind of ridiculous until the hotel is fully ready (restaurant, room service, etc), but suspect it's a mandate from the Hyatt corporate level. Will not hesitate to stay here again when Broadway is my primary reason for visiting NYC.

"Has the potential for a true Hyatt Regency experience... in a few months"

There is a lot of potential to this Hyatt property, but it feels like it has been rushed to opening earlier than it should have been. There are minimal amenities available (no food/beverage, although they do make coffee available in the morning if you know where to look), staff training is uneven, and the thermostats in the guest rooms don't allow for cooling. However, the rooms are large, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the location is excellent for exploring the theatre district. At this price point, I would recommend the Time for now, which is about half a block away, until the Hyatt Regency has worked out some of its opening bumps.

"Great Views of Times Square"

Family trip with two young boys for the first time in the city. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We stopped by for questions a few times and received excellent advice. Room was a good size for a NYC hotel and beds were very comfortable!
