Crowne Plaza Times Square is perfectly located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, between 48th and 49th Streets, just at the doorstep of Times Square. Just beyond the front doors are Fortune 500 companies and the best shopping, theater, and historical attractions in the city. Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the greatest musical theater are mere steps away. Central Park is 10 minutes’ walk away. The hotel is also steps away from the 49th Street underground station.

Crowne Plaza Times Square has over 25,000 square feet of private event space onsite, 28 meeting rooms, and two Ballrooms, including a 6,750 square feet Broadway Ballroom with 20-foot ceilings. Featuring city views, each room at the Crowne Plaza Times Square has a flat-screen cable TV, modern decor, plush bedding, a workspace, upscale bathroom amenities, and WiFi included for the nightly service fee. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, Broadway 49 serving craft cocktails, beer, wine and unique dishes. Grind'n Co Coffee on the first floor has a variety of beverages including Stone Street Coffee, as well as grab-and-go items.

"Charged incorrectly"

I booked a room with 2 queen beds, at check in at 5pm they explained they only have 2 double beds and it would be an one hour wait for queen beds, I said that's ok we can wait. He then offered to waive the resort fee if we accept the 2 double beds, I agreed. At check out I confirmed that the fee was waived. 20 mins after checking out they charged my credit and will not refund it.

"Great location for a nice hotel."

Great location near Times Square. The rooms look nice and beds are comfortable. No additional high-end amenities like robes or slippers provided. Also, no in-room coffee maker, although you could go down to the lobby for free coffee in the morning, Bad design choice for a bathroom: toilet paper holder mounted vertically behind the toilet bowl, so you have to awkwardly turn your body when seated.

"Good but not 4 star"

I'm not a hotel expert, but this didn't seem like a 4 star hotel to me. It's a nice hotel but it's in a limbo stage partially under construction. You essentially have to enter and exit through a side entrance along Broadway into a sea of street hustlers. Most of the elevators were broken, maybe 2 out of 8 were functional. The restaurant wasn't open and there was not breakfast, onsite food or drinks. The staff was very friendly and it was nice inside. I think it has promise once everything is up and running correctly.

"Hyatt is a great stay for a Time Square Day"

The hotel is in a very good location in Time Square. You’re right in the middle of all the “action.” We came to see The Lion King and it was about a two block walk to Broadway. It’s very easy to get to anywhere in the area from the hotel. The sound insulation is great as you don’t hear any noise from the street when it’s time to sleep. The property is well maintained and the staff is friendly, professional and responsive to any requests. I was disappointed that the hotel had no dining options available as I had booked the “Bed and Breakfast” selection while making my reservations. Nevertheless, the hotel promptly adjusted my bill to correct the issue.
