Crowne Plaza Times Square is perfectly located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, between 48th and 49th Streets, just at the doorstep of Times Square. Just beyond the front doors are Fortune 500 companies and the best shopping, theater, and historical attractions in the city. Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the greatest musical theater are mere steps away. Central Park is 10 minutes’ walk away. The hotel is also steps away from the 49th Street underground station.

Crowne Plaza Times Square has over 25,000 square feet of private event space onsite, 28 meeting rooms, and two Ballrooms, including a 6,750 square feet Broadway Ballroom with 20-foot ceilings. Featuring city views, each room at the Crowne Plaza Times Square has a flat-screen cable TV, modern decor, plush bedding, a workspace, upscale bathroom amenities, and WiFi included for the nightly service fee. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, Broadway 49 serving craft cocktails, beer, wine and unique dishes. Grind'n Co Coffee on the first floor has a variety of beverages including Stone Street Coffee, as well as grab-and-go items.

Pet Policy
Pets are welcome. Dogs or cats only weighing 40 lbs. or less are allowed. Pet owners must sign a waiver and pay $75 non-refundable fee. One pet pet room is allowed. Please notify the hotel directly prior to arrival if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

"Will stay again!!!"

I had a wonderful stay here when visiting Times Square at the holidays. The lobby was decorated beautifully and the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. We had a corner room that was carefully and thoughtfully decorated. The beds and linens were top notch. In the morning, we grabbed breakfast in the lobby restaurant - our attendant provided excellent service, and the breakfast sandwich was chef's kiss. Highly recommend!!! :)

"New Years Ball Drop Viewing"

Stayed for NYE, the hotel has a private pen for viewing the ball drop so you don’t have to arrive 10 hours early. The staff was organized and polite. The rooms look newly renovated. The views on the high floors are amazing.

"Pack your patience!"

I’m a globalist member and familiar with the service and amenities Hyatt has to offer. Location is great, right in the middle of it all but be forewarned that the taxis have a hard time reaching the hotel due to the heavy traffic. We chose to get out 2 avenues over and walk with our luggage so we weren’t just sitting in stand still traffic while the meter continued to count on. The rooms are clean, have a fridge, but no coffee maker. I requested one for the room and they never provided it. There is no complimentary coffee available in the lobby in the mornings. You have to queue at the cafe - long lines, at 9 am it took me 30 minutes to get a cup of drip coffee. Absolutely horrible. Coffee should be provided especially if a coffee maker is not standard in the rooms. The elevators are very slow. There are 2 banks to provide for lower and upper levels rooms but not all the elevators are operational. To top it off, no room service. The lobby cafe kitchen closes at 9:30 pm, and no room service! Overall the stay was a disappointment. I used points to book so I guess I got what I paid for.

"Avoid like the plague…"

What a complete and utter disappointment. Arrive at hotel at 4pm to find hundreds of guests trying to check in with three clerks. No globalist line, no online check in area… stood in line for over 40 minutes to get keys (we had done online check in and our room was ready). Had used a globalist confirmed suite upgrade and were upgraded to a nice suite (penthouse?). Two guests in room, one robe; door to room does not latch unless you pull on it; requested turn down service, maid brought hand towels; no heat in room… thermostat set to 80 and temperature will not raise above 70 degrees… requested service to fix and were brought two small space heaters (one didn’t work). Don’t get me started on breakfast… for a hotel with 795 rooms, would it be a reasonable expectation to have a full service restaurant for breakfast? Nope, stand in line for another 40 minutes to order at counter and take ham & cheese croissant to your own table. No service whatsoever. As a globalist we are allowed 3 items each, according to the clerk… but when we order, he can’t figure out that the 4 items we ordered is less than the 6 was are apparently allowed. Recently stayed at a Hyatt place and honestly that stay was better than this one. If it weren’t such a hassle to change hotels for just one more night in the city, we would move. Won’t be back to this property….much better Hyatt options in the city.

The hotel is right in the Heart of Times Square, so automatically the views from the rooms were amazing. The hotel itself, right when you enter there’s just an urban and bustling environment, but it can also be calm at certain hours of the day, depending on when you go. I would say this trip to Hyatt Regency was definitely worth its value, especially due to the kindness of the staff, how clean and how safe the hotel was. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, a buffet is provided, which is very helpful especially because Times Square restaurants are always filled to the brim with people.
