Great hotel to stay at we were in town a couple of days before our cruise and also stayed here one night after our cruise. Gentlemen brought our luggage up and held it until our rooms were ready as we were early. Then delivered it to our room. Rooms were very clean and up-to-date. Had a really nice restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. There is a great little sandwich shop next-door if you want just a great sandwich.

"Quite Disappointing"

We only booked in for one night and it was our first stay. We chose the Coast Seattle because it was close to Benaroya Hall and our concert, and was a bit less expensive than many of the other properties in the area. Upon checking in, my first impression was - this is nice. The common areas leading to the room was nice, as was our room upon entering. Sadly, that changed rather too rapidly. The desk lamp in our room didn't work. The bathroom mirror was broken, with a one inch chunk taken out of it. It would be very sad if a child ran his or her finger on the mirror, and badly cut themselves. I wandered down the hall to get some ice, and what looked like a relatively new ice machine, didn't work. I tried another floor, and that machine didn't work either. I called down to the front desk and rather than being told that they would bring me a bucket of ice or let me know of a machine that worked, was told, that she couldn't leave the front desk, and we were on our own. The bed was really soft, and although I was very tired and slept well, my partner was awoken repeatedly by the sirens, with our room being right next to the highway. Coast's slogan is " Refreshingly Local ". I wished I would have spent the extra hundred of so, and hopefully gotten into a hotel taking more pride in their property.

Super comfortable beds and spacious rooms overlooking Chicago await you. You, unfortunately, will have to (a)wait for the elevators. The slow elevators are the only downside of this well located hotel. Come for the comfy beds but stay for the Toto Washlette bidets!
