Chicago Crime Tours is interesting and entertaining with a great mix of on the bus touring and off the bus experiences. Our guide, Mitch, was fantastic.

Wanted to do a crime tour and this one was recommended. The tour was 90 min in a cramped bus (don't sit in the back, you can't see anything). There was a TV screen but they didn't make use of it for more than a few minutes. The tour operator tried her best but the stories and information she provided was not interesting and took a long time to get through each story. There are 3 stops and none of them particularly interesting - would not recommend at all.

We booked this last minute due to bad weather. It was a great decision! We were able to see a little bit of the city, stay dry and learn about Chicago crime. Our guide, Sheila, was pretty great and entertaining! I would recommend her as a guide if you are booking in advance. The tour starts off on the Magnificent Mile making is convenient to other tourist attractions.

"Crime does pay"

Crime does pay, especially for the Chicago Crime Tours. We visited Chicago on a school field trip, both parents and students were enthralled with this fascinating tour. Our guide, John made us feel like we were there and kept us engaged during the entire tour. We were able to see where some of these notorious criminals left their marks, it was great. Don't miss this one!

A friend and I booked the bus tour, instead of the walking tour, just in case the weather wasn’t good. It turned out that Chicago was cold and rainy so we were happy to relax in the dry bus. Our tour guide (Alysse?) was knowledgeable, funny and very entertaining. She added a warm, personal touch. We loved listening to her stories of Chicago crime. She kept it real, instead of just glamourizing illegal activity. This tour was great — entertainment, history, culture and a little architecture.
