    The tour starts and ends outside 163 E. Pearson St. (SE corner of Pearson and Michigan Ave.). The Chicago Crime Tour bus is red and yellow.

    How long is the tour?

    The tour lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours, subject to traffic and weather conditions.

    How early should I arrive?

    Arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in with the tour guide. Names are on the guest list.

    Is there nearby parking?

    Paid parking is available in nearby public garages, including Water Tower Place. Water Tower Place parking is accessible from Chestnut Street. Standard rates apply.

    Is this tour kid friendly?

    All ages are welcome, but the tour is recommended for ages 10 and above.

    How will we be seated?

    General seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Joint seating is not guaranteed.

    What places will we visit?

    They visit places of criminal historical significance in the Magnificent Mile, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, River North & Loop neighborhoods.

    Will we see actual physical crime scene locations?

    Most of the crime scene locations still have an existing structure or building.

    Do we get off the bus?

    Yes, the tour includes multiple stops to experience historic gangster sites, with walking up to a city block. Please note that stops depend on traffic, weather, and time and there are stairs, including 4 steps to board or exit the bus.

    What should I wear?

    Guests should dress in weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

    Are the tours wheelchair accessible?

    All are invited to join the tour and there is storage for folding wheelchairs and strollers. However, please note that the bus has 4 stairs and some of the stops off the bus include stairs.

    Are restrooms available?

    Please use the bathroom before the tour starts. There are no bathrooms on the bus.

    Does the weather affect the tour?

    Tours may be canceled due to weather and safety conditions. Rescheduling options apply.
