"$518 for Meh"

Over all, a let down. This is billed as visits to 3 of Las Vegas’ hottest acclaimed restaurants with 2-4 dishes at each stop. For $518 for two people (aka $199 + $60 drink package), as a true foodie, I was expecting my socks to be knocked off. Stop #1 was to Javiers for Mexican. We were served chips and salsa and then 2 enchiladas with rice and beans in about 30 minutes. 😒 I was very excited about Stop #2 to Michael Mina’s Bardot Brasserie…. until we were served deviled eggs, endive leaves with little pieces of crab meat and caesar dressing, a mini croque madam and a bowl of French onion soup. Yes, there was much more food than stop 1, but none of it was exciting or anything that would entice me to go back. Our final stop #3 was the best, a show stopper at Mastro’s Ocean Club. Here we finally enjoyed something worth the $$$, Medium rare filet mignon, with creamed corn, and asparagus. The crowning glory was a ginormous tray of delicious dessert including cheesecake, chocolate torte and Holiday Butter Cake, all of which were scrumptious. As a true foodie I do have high standards. I was really looking forward to some top notch restaurants, tasting their signature dishes and finding something that would beg me to go back. Sadly, that was not the case. The restaurants visited were all in the Aria which made it feel like it was a tour of MGM’s restaurants that were, “close and good”. For the money, if you are an actual foodie, I would not suggest this tour, or curb your expectations.

"Can’t wait to try more tours!"

What an awesome experience! We talked about visiting the Fremont Street Experience to cross downtown Vegas off our list of things to do, so we figured we’d kill two birds with one stone by booking the Downtown Vegas food tour, and we’re so happy we did! Our tour guide, Trey, did such a great job of bringing us to some of the locals’ favorite places to eat, and everything we had was delicious. We never would’ve ventured outside the canopy over Fremont Street if it weren’t for him. Really awesome mix of history and fun facts, along with food. Next time we’re in Vegas, we’ll definitely check out their other tours, along with visiting the restaurants we went to this time for a full meal.

"An absolutely awesome night out!"

Last week, our team of 22 planned our Holiday Outing doing the Downtown Foodie Tour and we canNOT stop raving about it! From start to finish, it was an absolutely awesome night out. First, the organization was impeccable—they seamlessly accommodated our group's allergies and dietary preferences without missing a beat. There were lots of options that suited everyones preferences (even those with limitations). Everything felt so well planned and thoughtful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. (As someone with a food allergy, I felt very comfortable that they had the situation under control). Tom, our guide, deserves a special shoutout. He was not only knowledgeable about the history and flavors of the downtown food scene but also brought humor and charisma to the tour. His lighthearted approach made it easy to connect with him and with each other. Tom's passion for the DTLV neighborhood(s) and it's culinary world truly shone through. He made sure everyone felt included and entertained throughout the night. Now - the food—it was DELICIOUS! Each stop brought unique and tasty menu items leaving us all VERY full and happy by the end of the tour. We also opted for the drink package, and it was absolutely worth the upgrade. The pairings elevated the experience to the next level! The pacing of the tour was spot-on. The walking distances were short and easy, even for a group of our size, and the timing felt perfect—not too rushed, but not drawn out either. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience - they nailed it in every way, from the service and the food to the atmosphere and the fun. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this tour is a must-try. We'll definitely be back for another round!
