I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at Vdara, Las Vegas booked through American Express Travel. This property was advertised as a luxury residence but failed to meet basic standards of comfort and quality. Below are the specific issues I encountered: Misleading Advertising: The property was advertised as part of Vdara, but we later discovered it is actually an Airbnb unit owned by a private individual, separate from Vdara’s company operations. This critical detail was not disclosed in the advertisement. We specifically avoid Airbnb accommodations, as we prefer full-service properties, and this omission misled us into booking a type of accommodation we actively avoid. The unit we were assigned, [Unit Number], had a terrible view of the mountains, not the Bellagio water show as suggested. Viewing the water show required standing in a narrow hallway near the restroom. Low-Quality Amenities: Soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers were of extremely low quality. It required excessive pumping to extract even a small amount of foam. The provided toiletries were substandard, and no bar soap was available. Cleaning services required an additional $80 daily fee, despite the lack of basic provisions. Outdated and Poor Maintenance: Some furniture and kitchen cabinets were chipped and worn. Kitchen counters showed signs of aging and neglect. Windows appeared unwashed, obscuring the already unimpressive view. TVs were outdated, smaller than those found in budget hotels, and insufficient for a comfortable viewing experience. Malfunctioning Curtains and Window Coverings: Several curtains and window coverings were malfunctioning. In the main master bedroom, one of the curtains was left hanging and was unusable, further diminishing the comfort and privacy of the space. Inadequate Kitchen Provisions: The kitchen was advertised as fully equipped but lacked basic items such as paper towels and usable cookware. Only four coffee capsules were provided, despite having an old, basic coffee maker. When we requested extra coffee capsules and informed housekeeping that we were staying an additional four days, we were told that only seven capsules could be provided at a time and that we would need to call daily for additional coffee. Noise Issues: There was a constant buzzing sound coming from under the entry door due to air currents. This noise was so loud that it was audible in the hallways. Although maintenance was called and the individual was polite and helpful, the issue caused significant discomfort during the stay. Additional Inconveniences: The complementary parking was not connected to our room at check-in. I was charged $35 when retrieving my car and had to return to the reception to resolve the issue, causing unnecessary delays. The Sub-Zero refrigerator was one of the few quality features but did not compensate for the overall lack of luxury. False Luxury Claims: Despite claims of luxury, this property’s quality was far below expectations. It resembled a roadside budget motel more than a premium residence. The misrepresentation of this property as part of Vdara and the omission of its Airbnb nature were critical issues, as they directly influenced my decision to book. I selected this property based on its advertising and my trust in American Express Travel. However, this experience did not align with the high standards expected from a luxury stay.

Love love love the Vdara Hotel! It's a non smoking non gaming hotel, which was very important to me. Instead of cigarette, it smells wonderful! And it's connected to the Cosmopolitan and the Bellagio (a short 5 minutes walk). All rooms have a kitchenette and are modernly decorated. There’s no self-parking, only valet — but that’s a small trade off considering everything else this place offers.

Great place to stay, great views from room, staff is friendly and willing to help. We stayed in a Suite on the 49th floor and loved it. I just wish there was coffee in the room for the keurig. The shower in the bathroom was awesome.the bed and couch were both comfortable to sleep on.

"Seems like a rip - off"

Nothing in the room is complimentary, the coffee costs 18 Dollars per Keurig cup. Water , cookies and gummies displayed as a welcome gift costs extra too and there was nothing obviously displayed about prices ( it was not in the minibar). Hotel room was nothing special, location is good walking distance to go to the Strip.
