A 1959 Chevy Corvette, 1940 Ford Truck, or 1957 Dodge Coronet, you name it – the Mrytle Beach truck show features thousands of pre-1989 vehicles, each restored to its former glory.
Join your fellow hot rod fanatics from far and wide at this annual event and get up close to the world’s most striking classics and vintage cars or trucks.
On top of bringing petrol heads from across the country together, the event raises money to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and more local community charities.

Run to the Sun Car Show Tickets
- Early Bird Car or Truck Entry (Available through December 31, 2022): $50
- Single-Day Adult: $15
- Weekend 3 Day - Adult: $25
- Military Weekend 3 Day – Adult: $10
- Youth (12 years and under): FREE
- Car or Truck Entry (Available through February 19, 2023): $65
- Car or Truck Entry – onsite packet pickup (Available online through March 14, 2023): $80
Important Information: Registration and admission are online now. Please note that only older cars and trucks, specifically from 1989 and older, can join the event. Big vehicles that can take up more than one parking spot need 2 entries. The show is open to the public.

About Run to Sun Car Show
Not to be confused with Lake Havasu Relics Rods Car Club, the Run to Sun Car Show has a rich history. It was formed by 9 residents who had a passion for classic cars.
While it started with 1,000 vehicles in attendance, the event has managed to grow audiences and participants across the country, requiring the management to include cars from 1972 and older. The show eventually transformed from a small event into a long-standing tradition.
Another thing that Run to Sun Car Show is known for is its philanthropic work. The event has donated over $250,000 to charities with the proceeds from the shows.
Over the years, the Relics Rods' Run in the Sun Car Show, along with Broadway at the Beach Car Show and other car shows at the beach, has established its name when it comes to automobile events. In fact, it has become a Grand Strand staple.
