Description

Join Yakov as he celebrates 30 years of laughter in Branson!

In American comedy, Yakov Smirnoff is a comedy icon. He came to the United States in 1977 after escaping from Ukraine, which at the time was a part of the Soviet Union, with nothing but a goal. He wound up in Hollywood at The Comedy Store despite not speaking English, and the proprietor, Mitzi Shore, took him under her wing.

Yakov rose to fame while working there alongside comics like Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, Billy Crystal, David Letterman, and countless others. He appeared with Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show," appeared frequently on "Night Court," and even had a program that bore the name of his catchphrase, "What A Country!"

Yakov will be performing at his own 2,000 seat theater in Branson, Missouri, where he delights audiences with his unique brand of comedy. With the heart of dreamer, Yakov Smirnoff has made the impossible possible and continues to inspire others with his love for America.

“You’ll Laugh your YAK-OFF” and leave with the gift of love and laughter.

Yakov really is a one of a kind comedian! Not only did he put on a good show, but he reminds us that it doesn’t cost anything to be nice. As a free country why we should be thankful for everything! Be loving, understanding, and compassionate. His message is to spread love and laughter. This is my second time attending his show and will definitely be back soon!

Sùch a happy show. Reminds us how great it is to live in America. Very funny skits. Just love the impersonations. Just too funny. I love how he makes sure to meet everyone (if you don't mind waiting in line). He will sign a book, have a selfie with you and shake your hand and a short visit. You also get a chance to meet some of the other performers. I love the show, worth every bit. They have very nice comfy seats.

We drove a 500 mile round trip from St. Louis to Branson just to see Yakov's show at his theater. It was worth every speeding truck and deranged driver we encountered on Interstate 44 to see this show!! It was funny, patriotic, sometimes sad, but always on point and a great show. Yakov has not "lost a step" even though he is now 74 and the father of a 9 day old baby who has interrupted his sleep. If you are anywhere near Branson, go see this show. You will not be disappointed.
