My family loved our stay! We loved the history of the older building, yet the rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. Our room (#8 Americana room) was upstairs and quiet. One of the best hosts I have worked with, answering all of my questions and assisting me in finding the best room for my family. The location was perfect for us, close to the Branson Landing, and close to downtown, easily within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

"Our favorite place to stay"

Landmark has been our favorite place to stay in Branson for years. The rooms are always clean and we enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Love to be able to walk to downtown and the Landing for shopping and eating or just sit on the porch and watch the world go by. The rooms have all been redecorated in different themes. Room 4 is a favorite so far. Dede (the property manager) is top notch at providing information on good places to eat and attractions to visit. We spent my birthday (3 days) and our anniversary (4 days) there and both stays were awesome. So, if your looking for a clean and cozy place to get away from the congestion and aggravation of "the strip" book your next stay at the Landmark Inn.

"Cozy and across from the Branson Landing"

Very nice place. Stayed in the Garden room over Memorial Day weekend. Room was clean and had enough space for us. Dede made sure our stay was relaxing and we had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Room had a mini fridge, tv, single serve coffee maker with k-pods and creamers, bottled waters, and a few snacks were provided. Across from the Branson Landing so we were able to walk there to shop and eat. Road noise could be heard, but was not noticed in the evening. Porch swing outside our room was a nice feature to sit and relax with a cold drink for the evening. We were very pleased with our stay.

If you are looking for a hotel with a spa, workout room, free breakfast, etc. then you should probably stop reading now. The Landmark Inn will probably not be a good fit. However, if you are looking for a quiet, inexpensive place to get some rest and support a small family owned business this might be the place. We stayed here for two nights while in Branson. It is close to the Branson Landing and historic downtown. We were able to walk to downtown for breakfast each morning and visit the Landing for dinner. It is located between some railroad tracks and a cemetery. We were not jolted from our slumber by a train whistle nor by the neighbors in the cemetery. The owners have done a nice job with the room, and are onsite should you need them . I believe it was built in the 1900's so there are some things that should not come as a surprise. Electrical outlets are there, but not as many as you may be used to. Other people have commented on extension cords being used. The ones that you would plug in phone chargers, etc were connected to power strips. It's not like you need a lot of power for most devices. The shower is pretty small (think RV shower) so keep that in mind if you need more room. They made good use of what space they had and it worked fine for us. Personally, my wife and I were happy with the Landmark Inn and would stay there again. Supporting small, local businesses is always a good choice IMO.

"Very Disappointed"

I wasn't going to write a review, but decided I had to. Arrived at the Landmark Inn in Branson, Missouri... noticed the white railings and siding of the building were very dirty. Went into the office to check in. We originally had a 5 day reservation. Asked if we had to leave early if we would be charged for just the time we actually stayed. It was stated that we would be charged for the full 5 days, no exceptions, which I found surprising with the Covid-19 pandemic still going on. We would have had to give a weeks notice to cancel the reservation to avoid full payment of the entire 5 days, so we didn't have much choice. It got worse... Went inside the room to find the door deadbolt was not very secure. The room stunk badly... Very musty smell. The room was very small. The wiring was a joke and definitely not up to code. Cheap $3 extension cords held to the wall with plastic electrical staples; some were simply hanging down. One very small bedside stand which barely supported my CPAP machine. There was no phone in the room. The bathroom had no tub, just a shower. To sit on the stool, you had to sit slightly sideways due to a protruding wall in front of it. On the bright side, there was a shelf above the bathroom sink to set razors, toothpaste, etc. Both my Wife's and my throat were getting sore, most likely due to the room. We stayed just 3 nights, then left and stayed the remaining 2 days elsewhere. We paid for a 5 day special rate the Inn offered, but after just 3 days, it obviously wasn't so "special". The location of the Landmark Inn is great... in the Branson Landing area. The Landmark Inn itself however isn't great. It is becoming rundown, which may help explain the "For Sale" realtor sign in the front. I do not understand how this property obtained a rating in the 7's... It is at best a one circle and shouldn't be above a 3 rating. There are many more places to stay in Branson, I would advise to go to them.. - Bob
