"Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing – A Hidden Gem"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

My stay: Traveling from the Midwest back to Florida with my son, we decided to detour through Branson—and what a fantastic decision it was! Location & Atmosphere Situated right on the boardwalk of Lake Taneycomo and nestled into Branson Landing’s promenade, this hotel offers upscale shopping, diverse dining, and lively entertainment—all steps from your room. The environment felt clean, well-landscaped, and refreshingly family-friendly—far from the tourist trap vibe I expected. Staff & Welcome Experience From the moment we arrived, the front-desk team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It was a genuinely warm and effortless check-in—scratching that personal touch out of the park! Cleanliness & Comfort Every corner—from the lobby to our immaculately kept room—was spotless. The pristine condition of the entire property really stood out. Guests often praise the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities , and I can’t help but echo that praise. Dining & Convenience We didn’t rely on in-room dining; instead, we walked across the street to find a fantastic range of restaurants. The convenience of being surrounded by great options made mealtime something I looked forward to. We really enjoyed the White River Fish House just steps away! Family-Friendly & Walkability Traveling with my son, we loved how everything was within walking distance. There was no need to drive—which is rare and incredibly convenient on a road trip with a kid in tow. Many reviews reflect this sentiment . Final Thoughts Branson Landing often gets a bad rap, likened to places like Myrtle Beach or Pigeon Forge, but our stay at the Hilton completely changed my perspective. With its riverfront setting, upscale ambience, welcoming staff, and impeccable cleanliness, it surpassed all expectations. Highly recommended for families or road-trippers passing through—this hotel delivered a five-star experience from start to finish. Thank you, Hilton Promenade, for making what could have been a simple pit stop into a standout highlight on our journey!

"BYOB: Bring Your Own Breakfast."

Bring your own breakfast, as this hotel has no restaurant where you can order such. I travel extensively and stay exclusively at Hilton, and have NEVER seen one where you cannot enjoy breakfast. This is unacceptable and certainly a deal breaker.

"Needs improvement and the layout is ridiculous- long walks required!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

The watershow/water fountain view is reason to stay here. If you get a room in the "South Tower" with a fountain view, you can watch the hourly light/water/fire/music show of Branson Landing, the city of Branson's downtown shopping promenade that reminds me of Disney Springs. The music turns off around 11pm. Now here's the real deal: whomever designed the layout of this place must have been on drugs. You go into the main lobby and then get your key card for your room in another building-- the "South Tower." But you have to go the opposite direction with your vehicle to get into the separate parking garage (which they charge you $22 a night to park in)-- then walk outside (in the rain) to then walk back thru the main lobby of that "North Tower" building, go outside on the promenade (get rained on!), walk across it to the "South Tower," use your key card to get into that building, then use your key card to get the elevator to go up to your room, and then go thru like 3 doors just to access your room. Then when you have issues, the lady at the front desk doesn't seem to know anything about the hotel she works at ("I usually just work weekends") and when you inquire about a guest laundry you're told to drive a couple miles to a laundromat even though there are secret washer dryers behind some doors in close proximity to your room... What kind of an upscale downtown hotel doesn't have a general guest laundry room? Furthermore, this hotel doesn't have any ice machines. And though you are paying a premium price to be there, they don't offer a free breakfast. If you want room service, you call to a steakhouse across the busy highway-like street and leave a message (since no one answers the phone anymore, right?!)-- and they never called back--so you end up leaving the hotel to find food elsewhere... and they have a nice indoor pool/spa that's quite a walk to get to-- but your pleasant pool time will be disturbed by blaring rock music from speakers (all around the main lobby too) AND a wall grate (air system? machinery behind it) making what sounds like a car engine revving sound over and over. Is this an awful hotel? Not at all-- it's a nice hotel. But could it stand to improve? Absolutely. Especially when people are paying $300+ a night!

I'm sorry to say that it was a huge disappointment. The confirmed room was given away. Oh we don't guarantee, well then DONT have us select a room. That number was special for us as it was the date of our daughters birthday who is no longer with us. Then the second room, was disgusting, dirty carpet dirty sheets. Never again at this location 🤮🤮🤮
