Centrally located in Orlando, Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is minutes from Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk. This family-friendly resort is within close proximity of Hollywood Drive-In Golf™ and Universal’s Volcano Bay.

Make yourself at home in one of the air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and iPod docking stations. 40-inch flat-screen televisions with cable programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless Internet access keeps you connected. Partially open bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Conveniences include phones, as well as safes and coffee/tea makers.

Dip into one of the two outdoor swimming pools or two spa tubs and enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a lazy river. Really nice kind of retro themed hotel. Has all the amenities for a family vacation. The weather was cool so we didn't try the pools or hot tub. There are several restaurants, and a bar by the pool. We went for the convenience of getting to Epic. We were able to load the bus with no issues and get to Epic. We were also able to take it to citywalk. It was nice, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to international drive, Icon Park and Citywalk.

Really looked forward to staying there, and what a bust. My wife is a huge MCM fan and this hotel did not live up anywhere near to the hype. I understand it’s not a five star resort or even a four star, but I shouldn’t expect to see things that I would see in a Motel 6. From exterior doors not responding to key cards, to multiple Coke freestyle machines not working properly and complaining to management multiple times about it, to doors in our room that looked like they had been knawed on by animals, ending in a glorious mold smell at the door to the room. Lastly, it is 2026, how do you have rooms with NO USB charge ports???? I just stayed at a Hampton Inn in Ohio that had no less than 6 USB charging ports.

We had a rough start to our trip. We requested a accessible room with a roll in shower on a low floor. When we arrived we were on the 4th floor and the room was down right disgusting. After a trip back to the front desk we were informed they wouldn't have another room until the next day which was very inconvenient since we had plans for a family outing that day. Our room was changed to the lower floor but unfortunately it was at the opposite end of where the accessible ramps were. Hotels seem to think accessibility is a choice, not a necessity. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and hotel was in a good location. We would not stay here again. When you are paying $250+ a night for a hotel you at least expect your dirty towels to be picked up and replaced with new.
