The Jewel Hotel - New York

All staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic. The location is perfect for a holiday trip. Rooms are comfortable and, by New York standards, surprisingly spacious. The second-floor living room is a standout amenity, complete with a professional grade fresh-ground automatic coffee machine. It’s fitting that the hotel is called The Jewel—it truly is one.

I will start by saying that I almost hate writing this review... Simply because I don't want too many people to find out about my HIDDEN GEM! What can I say. The Jewel is the only place I will stay when visiting New York City, whether for business or pleasure. The location is just unmatched for those that want to experience the hustle and bustle of the Rockefeller Center area. Times Square, Central Park, St Patrick's Cathedral, Broadway, Fifth Avenue - all within an easy walking distance. The accommodations are what I'd called sophisticated simplicity. Rooms are updated and clean, with modern furnishings. There is a free bottled water dispenser on every floor - save your $ as there are so many more fun things to spend it on in the city!! Every little bit helps! The lobby area is no frills but the staff are SUPER helpful and friendly. There is not a restaurant on premises but there are so many great options nearby. Want to keep it simple to start your day? Grab one of the many breakfast options at Toasties down the street. Or maybe you're interested in coming back to the hotel for a quick bite and a nap in the afternoon - Abitino's will do you, with maybe a slice of NY pizza and don't forget the tiramisu! Literally 2 doors down! Or if you're in the mood for a casual dinner nearby, try Bill's across the street. Already planning my next trip!

The Jewel is located perfectly by Rockefeller Center with efficiently appointed rooms and a great staff. There’s coffee and a living area on the 2nd floor but you’ll need to visit Astropub for breakfast or Bills for a bite t on eat and a drink. Super easy!

This was an “all things Christmas” trip for us, and The Jewel did not disappoint! It is located steps away from the Rockefeller Center tree, the Saks Fifth Avenue light display, and the Radio City Music Hall. Rooms were clean, the view was spectacular, the complimentary coffee bar was a nice touch, and the super friendly employees were the icing on the cake!

I usually don’t write reviews unless I felt it’s worth it and this hotel exceeded my expectations I have zero complaints, excellent staff service from the moment we arrived definitely will stay here next time I’m in manhattan.
