American Girl package was so precious. This is an unassuming hotel in the middle of it all. Clean and welcoming employees. Our room was large for NYC and comfortable.

Just Stayed here for two night. Absolutely wonderful staff, great rooms and fun location. If you’re a first timer in New York this spot is great to really feel Rockefeller plaza. 10/10! I also broke something in the hotel and they worked with me. Thanks jewel!

"A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Manhattan — The Jewel Hotel"

As a solo traveler, I was looking for a cozy, centrally located place to unwind and reset before heading home to Portugal — and The Jewel Hotel was exactly that. The location truly can’t be beat. It's right across from Rockefeller Center, I was able to walk to all the iconic NYC spots: Top of the Rock, Times Square, Bryant Park, Fifth Avenue shopping, and of course, Broadway shows just a few blocks away. Being close to multiple subway stations made getting around the city a breeze — which is a lifesaver. But what really made my stay special was the staff. Every single day, I was greeted with a smile. The team at the front desk were not only friendly, but genuinely helpful — offering directions, recommendations, and just kind conversation that made me feel seen and welcomed, not just like another guest passing through. One unexpected (and very appreciated!) perk: free laundry! After a month of traveling across the States, it was such a relief to be able to do a full refresh of my clothes before boarding my long-haul flight back to Lisbon. It’s the little things like this that make all the difference for long-term travelers. The Jewel Hotel lived up to its name — a true gem in Midtown. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and kindness in the city that never sleeps.
