"What a Jewel of a Hotel"

The location of the Jewel Hotel could not be more convenient. It's right off Fifth Ave. close to Rockefeller Center, where you can hop a bus going downtown or walk one avenue over to Madison where buses head uptown. The Metro is only three avenues east. There are plenty of restaurants on 6th and 7th. Besides its convenience, the hotel is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a free coffee bar on Floor 2. We had to leave a day early because of a blizzard headed that way. The hotel was very accommodating about that. We visit NYC at least once a year and only just discovered The Jewel Hotel this year--but we will be back!

The Jewel Hotel was a wonderful and convenient location. It was very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location couldn't be better for a show at Radio City Music Hall

"Exceptional Stay"

Our stay at The Jewel was exceptional, for the following reasons: 1) Location is amazing, right across from the Rockefeller Centre, but yet the street was not noisy. 2) The rooms were spacious (especially for New York), quiet, and comfortable. 3) The service was fantastic. I planned a surprise for my wife's birthday and they let our friends in our room in advance, called them (without my wife knowing) when we arrived, and provided a personalized note to celebrate! Special thanks to Erick and Leslie for making it all happen. 4) The amenities are great - they have a gym, free guest laundry, and a very comfortable "living room" with 24 hour coffee and room to watch TV, remote work, or visit. 5) The price is very reasonable given all of the above. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

This hotel exceeded my expectations and beyond! It was a great value, especially for the location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s complimentary water bottles and filtered water to refill in every floor by the elevator, super convenient. Also complimentary coffee/lattes and even milk (made it easy for my son to have cereal every morning). These extras saved time and money! I booked the terrace and got a corner unit, my view was incredible!! I was very pleased with the hotel and will return! I went with my son who’s 4, we had no issues!
