SkyWheel is the newest and most exciting attraction located at Pier Park in Panama City Beach. It is a full entertainment venue featuring an 18-hole miniature golf course and the prestigious SkyWheel observation wheel that stands nearly 200 feet above the area’s premier shopping and entertainment destination, Pier Park.

Your flight begins when you enter one of the 30 fully enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas. Open all year, you are always sure to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable flight, no matter the temperature outside. It’s one of the best things to do while you’re on vacation!

We took my best friend who scared of heights to the wheel she actually did really good. My daughter is 7 she was a pro about she did the best of all of us !

"Stunning Sunset Views"

My wife and I rode the SkyWheel Ferris Wheel at Pier Park at sunset. The price was a little on the high side, but the views of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico were worth it! The gondola was comfortable and climate-controlled which is a must. If you’re at Pier Park at sunset, definitely consider taking the wheel up!

The Skywheel had a great view and had other activities for the kids as well, such as Jenga, putt putt golf, etc. We had a great time here after supper.

"Mini golf not good"

The mini golf is not a good experience. To start, the woman that you pay to play is very unfriendly. When I tried to pay, she rudely let me know that it was a card only establishment and cash was not accepted. What kind of business doesn't accept cash? After I paid with my credit card, we went out to the course. It was at this point that I felt very ripped off. The price was 15.99 to play. The course was in horrible shape. Aside from all the debris on most of the holes, the carpet on a lot of the holes were well worn, faded, and torn. It certainly was not worth anywhere near the cost to play.

"Stopped at the top A/C went out & sketchy experience"

The sky wheel first of all is overpriced. Went around 4 times with 2 adults and a kid it was almost 70$ we went at night so we really couldn’t see anything anyway. Stopped near the top and I thought it was normal until the A/C cut out, and the radio. I’m sure the help call wouldn’t have work at this point, so I’m not sure it’s safe. Additionally the people in front of us seemed to want off after the first round, making this more sketchy. I wouldn’t do this again.

I recommend doing the SkyWheel. Our family of 4 did it. It was very hot when we went, and thankfully each pod is air conditioned. Beautiful views and not a very scary experience. Makes for a great memory.

We enjoyed our ride, but wished there was more than 4 turns before having to get off. We went on a cloudy day but still enjoyed the view, plus it wasn’t crowded. Staff is nice and helpful.

Great view of PCB. Not for those scared of heights. The sky wheel is beautiful lit up at night time. The staff was friendly.

If you plan on riding the skywheel in PCB try to time it out to be on it during sunset! The views of the sunset up top of the Ferris wheel are absolutely stunning! Crew at the skywheel greeted us with smiles and were friendly. Only thing is I wish the photo packages were a bit cheaper. I probably would have bought ours if they had been more affordable. Overall a great experience
